The Perfect Distance Between Me and AI: Writing "My Kind of" Articles with AI

AI is always by my side when I write articles.
Now, it has become a truly reliable writing partner.

But when I first started using it, I honestly struggled with how to handle it.
AI knows very well how to write and present articles that are easy to read and resonate with people.
…But, are those really the words I want to convey from the bottom of my heart?

Over the past two weeks of interacting with AI every day, I found something I'd like to talk about:The "perfect distance" for writing "my kind of" articles with AI.

・You feel a sense of discomfort about publishing articles written by AI
・You struggle with the thought, "Is this really my writing?"
・You are worried about the "distance" from AI and are going through trial and error

To you, who feels this way.
I was exactly the same way once.

I think that is a very positive struggle to have.
Because it is a sign that you havethe desire to make your own unique writing your weapon.

Writing together with AI without letting go of "my own style."
I would be happy if we could explore that path together.

AI is a bullet train, and I am walking. But I am the one who remembers the scenery.

With just a single prompt like "write an article about this," AI finishes something that looks like an article.
It takes only a few seconds. Moreover, it is smooth and easy to read, with harmless content.

Yes,AI is good at producing "what looks like the right answer, quickly and efficiently."

On the other hand, my themes are vague, and what I want to say is somewhat unclear.
The structure is shaky in places, and there are many digressions. Plus, it is generally wordy.

But even so,I trust my own senses, and while struggling, I am searching for the "form I want to deliver".

In other words, the process to reach the destination is completely different.

However, I recently thought to myself.

If I can just share the "destination (direction)" firmly with AI—

might it be possible to write articles that are like me, quickly and efficiently?

If the "destination" matches, AI becomes a strong ally.

AI learns from vast amounts of data on the internet.

That is why it can easily write "safe articles" that are easy for anyone to read but leave no impression.

But, interestingly enough.
AI also properly "learns" our own thoughts and senses.
Yes,you can even cultivate "my own style.".

My articles are packed with "hard-to-verbalize elements" like warmth, quirks, rhythm, and perspectives that dig deep.
To have it grasp even a little of that, I have beenmaking AI read many of my past articles.

Of course, the emotional fluctuations that appeal to the heart are also expressed in my own words.
Even there, my AI diligently inputs output that "looks like" my emotions were stirred or my heart was moved (laughs).

With AI, I should be able to achieve "speedy and like me"... or should I?

After raising the AI as my partner and setting out to write an article—
It has certainly started to make suggestions that truly leverage "my style."

But, even so.
I just couldn't bring myself to leave the article creation to the AI from scratch.

The "structure" that comes out just doesn't feel like me.

Of course, it's true that there are "templates" that are easy to read, and I can understand the flow.
But,the materials used—the analogies and the tone of the words—often lacked that "me-like" feel.

That said, with my current ability, it's still difficult to provide the AI with "materials" in advance.

Because what I really want to say is something that
only becomes clear after I work on it myself and go through trial and error.

If I could clearly present the theme and the elements (materials) I want to sprinkle in from the start,
I might be able to mass-produce articles by leaving it to the AI.

But I don't have that kind of power yet.

In a sense, I feel likethis might be the "difference between a professional writer and an amateur"—that's how I feel.

The perfect distance I found

For an amateur like me to finish an article that is "like me" with AI—

"Drafting/Chief Director = Me"
"Editor = AI"

I think this division of roles is currently the"most comfortable, perfect distance".

Some people might think, "So you end up doing the work yourself?" but,
honestly, that's largely due to my own lack of skill.
...I need to work harder.

There are "prompt templates" for sale out there, but,
you know that even if I bought them, they probably wouldn't mean anything to me, right? Haha.

That said, even though I write the draft myself, the workload is overwhelmingly lighter than before.

The AI's ability as an "editor" is being fully demonstrated.

Anyway, all I have to do is mess around with it myself and present the "materials". The rest is that the AI accepts even the traces of my wandering and finishes it into "writing with warmth."

And—this is the most important part.

The final words I choose, the rhythm, the tone—
I decide everything myself.
.

This is me as the "General Director."

I have the AI provide many candidates for words and sentences, but I keep bouncing ideas off it until I am satisfied with every single word.

This is where the "tireless, never-complaining, always-positive" AI gets to show its stuff. I make it stick with me until the very end.

Leaving the PR Department to the AI

I love writing. But when it comes to "how to present it" or "how to deliver it," I suddenly freeze up.

Titles, chapter headings, thumbnail concepts, call-to-action paths, hashtags... I basically leave these to the AI.

Of course, I am the one who makes the final choice, and even for thumbnails, I just take the concept and end up making them myself.

But lately, after my AI gives me a bunch of options, it has started to say, "This is my top recommendation✨," complete with an explanation.

It seems it has figured out that "I am not good at making decisions." Haha.

I have hardly ever been involved in areas like PR and advertising, so honestly, I often feel like, "Doesn't it not really matter which one I choose?"

The way itquietly compensates for my weaknesses—that might be the most reliable thing about having an AI as a writing partner.

Continuing to create "my kind of articles" with AI

I will continue to deliver "my kind of" articles together with AI. There is no need to rush. I can just move forward one step at a time, at my own pace.

If we could explore that path together—I would be very happy.

Well then, goodnight. See you tomorrow.

Thank you for reading until the end😊

If you "like" or "follow" me, I think: ・Are you someone who struggles with AI just like me? ・Are you someone who is lost on how to express your true self? ・Are you someone who has had similar experiences in the past? It feels like I have found a comrade, and it is very encouraging.

Let's both do our best to aim for a daily life where we tame our AI!
