スティングの独占インタビューが5/9（金）テレビ朝日『大下容子ワイド！スクランブル』で放送決定。

5月9日（金）のテレビ朝日系『大下容子 ワイド！スクランブル』では、アルバム『3.0ライヴ』を発売したばかりのスティングを特集。番組コメンテーターのデーブ・スペクター氏がスティングに独占インタビューを実施。スティングが最新アルバムや新バンド「スティング3.0」でのツアーのこと、ポリスやこれまでのキャリアについて、また日本と平和への思いなどを語る。デーブ氏との和やかなインタビューと共にスティングの生み出した名曲の数々と偉大なるキャリアに触れてほしい。今年9月には東京、名古屋、神戸、広島、福岡の5都市6公演でのスティングの来日公演も決定している。

「孤独のメッセージ」（Message in a Bottle）は、ポリスの楽曲である。2作目のアルバム『白いレガッタ』の先行シングル。

表向きは遭難者について歌っている。遭難者は助けを呼ぼうとボトルメール (Message in a bottle) を送いる。それから長い時を経て、海岸には非常に多くの助けを求めるボトルメールが来てしまい、遭難者は目を疑うという内容である。転じて、メッセージは人間は誰しも孤独であり、疎外感を抱いているということである、と作曲したスティングは述べている。自分は孤独だというメッセージを他人へ送ると、自分も孤独であるというメッセージが戻ってくるのである。

On the surface, the song is about a shipwrecked person who sends a message in a bottle to ask for help. After a long time, the shipwrecked person can't believe his eyes when so many bottle messages arrive on the shore. Sting, the composer, says that the message is that all humans are lonely and feel alienated. If you send a message to others that you are lonely, you will get a message back that you are lonely.
