Episode 1: "The Observer Wakes in the Forest"
A man wakes up in an unfamiliar forest, having lost his memories. Not knowing who he is, he meets Leon, who is wary of strangers, and Aria, who cannot abandon those who are hurt. Before long, the three of them face "something that must not be touched" sleeping in the village.
Episode 2: "The Inefficient Village and the First 'Solution'"
As an outsider who caused a mysterious light, Kai is viewed with suspicion by the villagers. However, what he sees is not just people trembling in fear, but the harsh and inefficient labor repeated day after day. His unconventional knowledge begins to slowly shift the common sense of the quiet village.
Episode 3: "The Revolution of Flow and Small Friction"
Not satisfied with small improvements, Kai turns his attention to the river flowing beside the village. While the new system he proposes has the potential to change their lives, it also invites backlash from the villagers who value faith and precedent. Their resolve to accept change is put to the test.
Episode 4: "The First Waterwheel and Budding Bonds"
Large-scale construction begins by the river. However, Kai's instructions, spoken in precise numbers, are barely understood by the villagers. On a site filled with shouting and confusion, Leon runs around trying to bridge two different sets of common sense. Amidst the conflict, a faint trust begins to bud.
Episode 5: "The Second Waterwheel and Budding Bonds"
As the villagers watch with skepticism, the large mechanism by the river reaches completion. But Kai's gaze does not stop at a single achievement. Faced with one burden of daily life after another, he and Leon, while clashing, begin to need each other's strengths.
Episode 6: "The Price of Revolution and the First 'Spark'"
Thanks to the new technology, a little leeway begins to emerge in the village's life. However, prosperity does not bring only peace of mind. Faced with the unsettling atmosphere beginning to drift outside the village, Kai, Leon, and Aria face the problem of how to protect what they have gained.
Episode 7: "Bandit Raid and the First 'Fire'"
In the dead of night, armed bandits approach the silent village. The villagers put out their fires and hold their breath. Leon stands at the watchtower, Aria holds her fear, and Kai waits inside the gate with a single hemp rope in his hand. The defense strategy he prepared was something different from swords or magic.
Episode 8: "The Magistrate's Visit and the First 'Flaw'"
Even after the night of the attack, a heavy atmosphere remained in the village. Faced with the choices made to protect it, Kai, Leon, and Aria's perceptions differ greatly. Then, a magistrate leading armed soldiers appears and begins to cast a suspicious eye on the village's defense itself.
Episode 9: "The Vulnerability of the Chain of Command"
Orders from a person in power are thrust upon Kai, who had protected the village. Leon tries to shield him, while the soldiers tighten the siege. In a situation where they are inferior in numbers and weapons, Kai looks not at the enemy's strength, but at the structure of a group that moves by command. The tension spreads throughout the village.
Episode 10: Escape to the Royal Capital
In a village ruled by fear, Kai begins to be seen not as a savior, but as an outsider who brought disaster. Aria and Leon, who protect him, are also forced to make the decision to abandon the lives they have known until now. What is left behind in the village and the destination the three choose lead the story on a new journey.
