The other day, I wrote an article like this.

A total of 5,323 characters.

Unlike my usual articles, I didn't include a greeting, nor did I introduce any other articles.

It's long...! Too long.

I know that the longer an article is, the less likely it is to be read.

While writing, I think to myself, 'Who is going to read this long piece?', but I can't stop my hands from typing, so I've reached a point where I just have to accept it.

Since reading a long article might be boring, I thought I'd write a quick behind-the-scenes look at this one.

The structure of this article was actually planned before I even left for the trip.

Going on a trip with my husband.

Once that was decided, the YouTube videos playing on our TV during our leisure time were all about travel influencers.

This time, we were going to take the Shinkansen to Hakodate City, so I spent all my time digging for information on Hakodate.

I saw plenty of information about Goryokaku, the night view from Mount Hakodate, and the squid fishing experience at the morning market, but the thing I saw most often was people eating at Lucky Pierrot.

Lucky Pierrot's Chinese Chicken Burger is introduced every chance they get.

Just by watching the video, I could imagine that the seasoning would be something my husband would like.

Even so, I wondered why it was so popular and why it captivated so many people... and I had an intuition that it would be worth experiencing for myself!

I decided to go on the trip with the intention of taking photos so I could write about it on note.

Before this trip, the last time I visited Hakodate was on a staff trip from the hospital where I used to work.

I remember going to the Bay Area.

The reason I remember is because I bought a Starbucks card with a Hokkaido design.

I left my colleague waiting on a nearby bench and dashed to Starbucks.

I went into the store, but I didn't buy a drink.
I only topped up my Starbucks card.

At that time, it must have been in my field of vision.

This flashy-looking building.

The reason is that this Lucky Pierrot Marina Suehiro branch is right next to Starbucks.

So, to enter that Starbucks, I must have definitely walked right past it...

Back then, I was living without much emotion and don't remember much, so from here on, it's just a guess...

I probably didn't even know what kind of shop it was at the time.

I might not have even thought it was a restaurant; I might have just thought it was a general store... lol

Now that I know what "Lucky Pierrot" is, I feel like I missed out on something back then...

At the time, I might not have been able to reach the feelings or thoughts I wrote about in this article.

I also think that now is the right time for me to truly understand how delicious it is.

There is something I have been thinking about a lot lately.

It is the idea that perhaps I am reliving my life.

Because I spent so much time keeping my true self hidden, as if under a lid, I feel like I am finally getting to experience so many different things now.

My growth is slower than others, and I am a bit of a slowpoke.

But precisely because of that, there are things I can notice—things that are cute, delicious, and happy.

If I am enjoying the present, then maybe that is enough.

Although I have declared that I will not give it my all, I think there are some works that can only be written precisely because it is the season for the Creative Awards.

Also, one more thing.
I want to write an article that is so truly insane.

An article talking about my love for Starbucks.

Even if I don't make it in time for the Creative Awards period, I am in the middle of letting the idea mature, so I will release it someday.

This is truly a declaration where I don't even know what I'm talking about.
