Self-therapy and healing while learning Tarot cards. 4 cards that indicate your inner child - Part 1
Hello, I'm Hoshi⭐️Shiho.
Today, I am writing for those who are interested in self-therapy and healing.
While Tarot cards are often associated with fortune-telling,
you can also use them for self-therapy on your own.
By learning the meaning of each card,
and digging deep into why this card appeared now,
you may notice things you hadn't realized before,
or realize, 'I see, this is how I should proceed!'
You are engaging in a dialogue with the cards.
Method
Basically, you can draw one card at random every day as your 'Card of the Day'.
Alternatively, you can use numerology to calculate today's Tarot card (the Major Arcana cards have numbers on them).
Since it would be endless to explain all 78 cards,
I would like to introduce them by roughly categorizing the themes
that arise when these cards appear.
And for our momentous first theme,
it is something essential for self-therapy
and healing yourself:
The Inner Child
If you are wondering what an inner child is, please take a look here first.
There are four cards related to the inner childthat I would like to introduce.
There are actually more, but
I have carefully selected four.
And only from the Major Arcana.
When these cards appear, it is a message that
it is time to look at your inner child!
Since this will be long, I plan to cover one card per article.
So, here is the first one!
*****Month*****
The Moon card represents
the subconscious—that is your inner world.
That is precisely why the theme of the "inner child" is hidden within it.
Let's journey through your inner world using the Tarot's "Moon" card.
If you have the card, please pick it up and try feeling it together with me.
🩵 Let's gaze at the Moon card

There are things you can notice by actually looking at the card.
The "Moon" card often depicts a full moon.
Two wolves, or a dog and a wolf—sometimes their colors are also paired.
And almost without fail, "water" is depicted.
Water is the world of our emotions.
In other words, it symbolizes the "inner world."
Some cards depict a figure beneath the water's surface, which signifiesthe subconscious.
The parts of ourselves we don't usually show others—that is the realm of the "Moon."
🌑 The Moon is always there, but
The moon exists in the night sky all year round.
However, it is not always visible.
Just like your subconscious,
it is always there, but you cannot see it unless it is illuminated.
And on the day of thefull moon,
when the light shines most brightly,
we can see our inner selves most clearly.
That is why when the "Moon" card appears—
it is achance to look within yourself.
🌙 The signs the Moon conveys
When the "Moon" appears,
anxiety or confusion may be surfacing within you.
Or perhaps anunconscious patternfrom childhood is coming to the surface.
At such times, please quietly ask yourself.
"What old beliefs or patterns do I hold?"
"What fears am I suppressing?"—Where do those fears come from?
"How can I comfort my inner child?"
🩷 Time to be close to your inner child
Fearoften takes the form of a child.
During meditation or channeling,
that fear may appear as a "little version of yourself."
At such times, please ask yourself gently.
“What does the little child inside me need right now?”
“How can I feel safe again?”
This is the message from the “Moon”.
If the Moon card appears as today's card...
🌙 Moon Day: A day to practice feeling emotions
“Moon Day” is a day to remember “how to feel emotions.”
I used to be very bad at feeling my emotions.
Because I always wanted to be perfect.
Because if I felt my emotions, I wouldn't be able to move.
Getting my work done was my top priority,
and I had no time or space to express my emotions, so I kept putting them off.
But now, when I look at the numerology calendar and realize it's “Moon Day”—
I just try to quietly feel what is inside me.
You don't have to put it into words.
You don't have to give it meaning.
It is enough to just “feel.”
🩵 Instead of bottling up emotions, let them flow a little
In our daily lives, we suppress many emotions.
“I can't cry at work.”
“I can't get angry in front of others.”
We keep holding back from feeling things like that.
Then, the “emotional tank” inside our hearts keeps getting fuller and fuller.
But “Moon Day” is the day to open that valve a little. It's okay to cry, or just take a deep breath.
Just by letting a little bit of emotion flow out,
both your body and mind will feel much lighter.
💧 The body is a vessel for emotions
Our body is also a vessel for emotions. If you stop feeling, emotions accumulate inside your body.
That can sometimes manifest as stiff shoulders,
or as stomach pain.
That is why I cherish “Moon Day” as a
day for self-adjustment.
A day to let emotions flow and align your body and mind.
Just as the moonlight gently illuminates,
let's gently shine a light on our inner selves as well.
Bonus
💧 When it's hard to feel the energy of the Moon
If you feel like you haven't been able to sense the moon's energy lately—
try asking yourself this.
“Have you been drinking enough water lately?”
Water is necessary to let the energy of emotions flow.
Fears and emotions are actually “flowing energy” as well.
So, if you lack water, your emotions will also stagnate.
If the “Moon” card feels distant,
first, try drinking a glass of water.
I am sure something will change.
🌕 Summary
The “Moon” is the light that illuminates your subconscious.
Your inner child is quietly hiding there.
When anxiety or confusion arises,
instead of blaming yourself,
it is a chance to look at yourself gently.
And don't forget.
No matter what, there is light within you.
It is just hiding behind the clouds—.
