Sharing happiness. Boasting is the warmest form of 'sharing' | After the #500note Festival
The rainy season in the Tokai region where I live finally ended on July 20th!
In the article I posted on July 9th, I boasted that "I have a feeling the rainy season will end soon...!", but it took more than 10 days after that, so my rainy season ending radar seems to have been jumping the gun quite a bit💦
Well, last week I mainly posted articles for the "#500note Festival" project hosted by Takacchi-san, a creator I respect, and today, the grand "awards ceremony" was held.
This was my first time participating in this "#〇00note Festival" series, and my impression after it ended is... it can be summed up in one phrase: "Everyone is truly amazing!"
In the previous "#400note Festival," my close friend TETSU-san won the Grand Prix, so I was secretly aiming for it too, but I was no match at all💦 I was simply overwhelmed by the power of everyone's "boasting," which was overflowing with love and humor.
Boasting was not something vulgar.
Above all, the person who moved me the most and whom I couldn't help but respect during this festival was the organizer, Takacchi-san himself.
During the period, among the many, truly many posts every day, Takacchi-san checked them all and gave warm, love-filled comments to every single one.
I'm sure it must have been a great deal of hard work to run a project of this scale. However, he didn't let that show in the slightest, and in today's awards ceremony article, he presented us with this wonderful quote.
Boasting is sharing happiness, isn't it?
"I had such a good thing happen."
Having someone listen to that.
The person who hears it smiles and says, "That's great."
With just that, happiness goes from one to two.
Boasting was not something vulgar.
Rather, it was the warmest form of sharing.

Just being able to encounter these words made me feel that participating in this festival was truly worth it. I would be happy if my "story about New Year's gift money memories" and "boast about 10 years of playing Pokémon GO every day" were even a little bit of "sharing happiness" for everyone.
