The Organizing and Storage Course I Took While Nervous, Where I Found Myself Vowing to Pass with 7 Others
In my previous post, I mentioned that I signed up for the Level 1 Associate Organizing and Storage Advisor course. You can find that story here ⬇️
🌱Maximum Nervousness! The First Morning Arriving Early🌱
The day for the Level 1 Associate Organizing and Storage Advisor course finally arrived. The nervousness I felt on the way to the venue was something else...! Thinking, 'If I get lost, it's definitely game over,' I left the house quite early. There were 12 participants in total. We were divided into 3 groups of 4 people each at our tables.
My mind was a complete blank from nervousness in the morning (lol). I tried to talk to the people at my table, but the tension in the morning was so intense that I couldn't really speak well. However, the lunch break saved me. Since we had lunch right there at the venue, casual conversation naturally emerged, and I was finally able to open up a little. It was a moment where I truly felt that 'sharing a space' is incredibly important.
🍀What's the Difference Between Level 2 and Level 1 Associate?🍀
Let me talk a little bit about the content of the lecture here.
In the Level 2 Organizing and Storage Advisor course, you learn how to organize your own space.
It's knowledge for improving your own life, such as 'Why does it get cluttered?' and 'How should I organize it?'
However, when you reach the Level 1 Associate level, the content changes significantly.
It becomes about 'making organizing and storage your job.'
You learn skills to visit clients' homes to provide advice and create systems for organizing.
You learn how to support others so they can organize, rather than doing the organizing yourself.
Actually, when I took Level 2, I thought, 'Hey, I'm actually pretty good at organizing!' (lol).
But after taking the Level 1 Associate lecture, that idea was brilliantly shattered...
'Organizing for yourself and helping others organize are completely different things.'
Everyone has different values regarding objects, different lifestyles, and different strengths.
How can I work together with them to create a system that suits them???
I was listening to the lecture with my brain running at full capacity the whole time.
It felt less like gaining knowledge and more like my perspective was changing.
🌿Heading Home in a Rush, Worried About Homework……🌿
The first day's lecture ended in the evening, and to my surprise, we were given homework.
My head was completely filled with, 'I have to get home quickly and do my homework!'
I went straight home, finished dinner and my bath early, and worked hard on my homework that night.
(I sometimes think later that I could have taken more time when leaving... lol)
💡Day 2, New Encounters and Teamwork💡
On the second day, there was an instruction to 'please sit in a different seat than yesterday,' so I ended up with new members.
And the main focus of this day was group practical exercises.
The time spent creating a single proposal while everyone shared opinions like 'It's better to do it this way' or 'Let's do this here' was truly fun, and by the time I realized it, we had completely opened up to each other.
Creating something together really builds a bond, doesn't it?
🌸The Group LINE That Was Born in Front of the Elevator🌸
After all two days of lectures were finished, I found out that one of the people I became friends with at the same table was heading in the same direction, so we decided to go home on the same train.
Since we lived close to each other, we decided to keep in touch, and as we were exchanging LINE contacts at the exit of the venue...
three people from another group appeared.
It turned out these three had become so close that they had gone out for dinner and drinks the night before!
The conversation turned into, 'Why don't we all exchange LINE contacts?' and we even called out to two other people who had just stepped off the elevator—
before I knew it, a group LINE with 7 people had been born.

🌼That Moment We Vowed to Pass the Level 1 Exam Together🌼
Before we parted ways after creating the group LINE, words naturally came out:
'Let's all pass the next Level 1 exam!'
Once you finish the Level 1 Associate course, you become eligible to take the Level 1 exam.
The Level 1 exam consists of passing a written primary exam, then creating an actual experience report, and finally an online interview.
I was thinking while listening to the two-day lecture, 'It sounds difficult, it sounds tough, and it costs money, so what should I do?'...
but once I heard those words, I just felt like I had to do my best! (lol)
Even though we had only met for two days, I already had reliable companions.
That fact made me gradually happy, and I almost felt like crying on the way home.
I went to learn about organizing and storage, but when I came back, I had gained precious companions as well.
'Being able to organize yourself' and 'enabling others to organize' are completely different.
The lecture made me realize that, and I have companions running toward the same goal.
Until now, I've spent my birthdays having them celebrated by family and friends, eating cake, and so on.
I wondered what it would be like to take a course on my birthday, but it felt like I had received a very wonderful present.
I will take another step forward toward the Level 1 exam.

※I have been involved in moving for 7 consecutive years. Each time, things increase, decrease, and I get confused again...
In this note, I write about the organizing and storage I've realized through moving, and the changes in my life.
