Don't make AI write everything in one request—Using AI by passing context for each step

If you ask an AI to "write this article" all at once, it will return a readable text. However, because you are handing over the order of arguments, the evidence to be verified, and the writer's judgment all at once, it is difficult to fix where it went wrong. Context works better when passed according to the process rather than all at once for the finished manuscript.

In the planning stage, pass only the reader and the points of discussion

What is needed at this stage is who is struggling with what, and what they need to know to make a decision. Rather than inputting a large amount of past manuscripts, pass the current question and the points not to be covered first. Do not seek perfection in the text at the planning stage.

In the structuring stage, pass the order of the evidence

If you are dealing with systems or news, decide on the order: facts, mechanisms, impact, and unresolved points. Before having the AI suggest headings, indicate which materials to use and where. It is faster to correct errors in the structure than in the body text.

In the body text stage, pass only the necessary materials

When writing the body text, pass the primary sources to be used this time, the verification date, and examples of the desired expression. Remove irrelevant conversation history. There is no need to fear having too little material. It is easier to prevent accidents in citations and assertions when the relevant materials are clear.

In the proofreading stage, return your own judgment criteria

Once a draft is ready, use an instruction manual such as "Are facts and evaluations mixed?", "Have you supplemented the person's experience?", or "Is there material the reader can check next?". Proofreading is not a process of decorating the text, but a process of returning judgment.

Change the AI's role for each process

• Planning: Finding omissions in arguments

• Structuring: Organizing the order of information

• Body text: Assembling specified materials into a readable format

• Proofreading: Finding parts that deviate from the criteria

When the role changes, the necessary context also changes. Rather than cultivating one universal prompt, having small bundles for each process makes output more stable.

The finished manuscript becomes material for the next process

What should be left after publication is not just the finished draft. What was passed, what was corrected, and what judgments will be used next time. That short record becomes the context for the next article.
