My daughter, movies, and the story of how my note became a movie
Good evening. This is Pepe.
“I want to see the next Demon Slayer movie!”
Even though she had watched it on TV,
my daughter, who had been too scared to watch it until now, said this.
Since the story was getting increasingly serious,
I had invited her to the theater, but she wouldn't watch it.
However, perhaps because she heard her school friends talking about going to see it,
at first she said, “I can't believe they could watch that,”
but recently she has started saying, “Maybe I'll try watching the next movie.”
She likes Demon Slayer itself,
and even plays Demon Slayer games at school.
Through talking with her friends, she seems to have become curious
about what happens to the demons and how the story continues.
I love movies, too.
Especially the time spent watching them in a movie theater is special, isn't it?
And while building up anticipation for the next movie,
I check out the posters that catch my eye.
Just looking at them makes me excited.
I read an article by Toko-san, whom I follow on note,
about how she had her own note turned into a movie,
and I enjoyed reading it very much.
I thought I would try it too,
so I immediately had my own note turned into a movie.

The days I lost my hearing, and the sounds I regained.
They taught me the preciousness of things I took for granted.
Since that day when I held my hands to my ears,
the world has gradually become kinder.
To be able to hear properly,
I never knew it could be this happy.
The article about my earsseemed to leave an impression,
as it was given a major spotlight.
I was surprised that Kasumi Arimura was the lead actress,
and I was happier than anything that it was put into words,
and I couldn't stop grinning at the tagline
“The #1 moving film of the year.”
I also tried asking for an illustration.

I have become someone who can feel that this is enough.
It is not a major event.
But there are moments that change your life.
This is a story that gently stays by the side of those who have been trying too hard.
Notes on important things
◻︎ Take deep breaths
◻︎ Find sounds you like
◻︎ Spend time laughing
◻︎ Don't forget to be grateful
A Walk on a Rainy Day has become a poster, hasn't it?
Perhaps because it is scheduled for release in June,
is that a hydrangea flower?
The colors are cute,
and although I tried it out of curiosity,
it was an experience that left a deeper impression on my heart than I had imagined.
To have my note turned into something like this,
I am very satisfied with the wonderful result.
Toko-san,
and Harunezumi-san who planned this,
thank you very much.

Through this movie adaptation,
I have gained a little more confidence in the daily life and sensations I have been writing about.
I felt as though I was shown the daily life I had taken for granted
as a "movie."
The release is still a long way off,
but I am already looking forward to the day
I can watch the movie with my daughter.
Thank you for reading until the end.
