Tomorrow is the final episode. Heading toward an emotional climax! A final look back and behind-the-scenes stories of the novel

Tomorrow is the final day of the 66-day writing challenge. For this post, I'm writing a retrospective to help you feel the climax even more emotionally as we head toward tomorrow's finale.
In short, it's a plug (lol). A mysterious engine has kicked in for this final sprint.

The final episode will be the final episode of the novel Runners. Tomorrow is Kyororo-chan's note.
So, for lion's note, today feels like the conclusion of the 66-day writing challenge a step ahead of time.

Tomorrow is the final day of the 66-day writing challenge, and it will be my 135th consecutive day of posting. With this day, I intend to cut off my daily streak (lol).

Before such a milestone, I'm going to write about these things today.

This is a look back, a bit early, for the final episode of the novel I plan to post tomorrow.

What was I trying to write with the novel Runners?

The theme was "a novel that could only be written on note, unlike anything before" and "
playing to my heart's content in the playground of note." Regarding this point, my honest feeling is, "I gave it my all!"

It feels good to line up all the compliments I've received (lol). It's the final episode tomorrow, so it's fine, right? (lol) I'm blushing and smiling.

Husband's Side ① (2024/6/29/7:00)

It was around the first or second day of the 66-day Rylan challenge that I thought about writing a novel. I thought it would be interesting if the final episode fell on the last day of the 66-day Rylan.
However, I hadn't announced when the final episode would be yet at this point. But actually, I had already mentioned the key points before I even started writing.

Wife's Side ① (2024/7/6/6:30)

A novel from the perspective of a protagonist who is writing a note probably hasn't existed until now (probably).A novel from the perspective of a protagonist challenging the 66-day Rylan is almost certainly non-existent I thought. Just that alone made me think, "at the very least, the concept is interesting, right?" (laughs).
So, I made the wife a noter.Writing a note from a female perspective is something I've never done (obviously), so I decided to play around with that.

Husband's Side ② (2024/7/13/6:30)

Note has a feature to embed and introduce links to other creators' articles. This was my first time trying to get inspiration from other creators' articles.Shinichi Kikuchi's prized character O makes their first appearance. Ah, I thought, this might be a novel that can only be done on Note. I believe it was around this time that I wrote in some article that the final episode would be on the last day of the 66-day Rylan.

Wife's Side ② (2024/7/20/21:30)

Note has a method of using hashtags to have your article collected and integrated into a collaborative magazine. I thought it would be interesting if the novel's character, who is a noter, did this, so I decided to play with it.
I also found out that "#MidsummerRelayNote" was starting while I was writing this episode. It seemed like it would be fun to join in, but I wasn't sure if they would let me do it on the Saturday I was serializing, so at this time, I just had Kyoro-chan show some interest (laughs).

Husband's Side ③ (2024/7/27/6:30)

I intended to have the story take a sharp turn in this episode. Shinichi Kikuchi's prized character O plays a major role (?). The final scene of this episode was the goal for the first half.Expressing that someone was hurt in a Note article was something I had never done before (you wouldn't usually write that in a normal article), so I wanted to try it out.

Wife's Side ③ (2024/8/3/23:30)

The problematic episode. I received comments saying it was too realistic and scary. It also has the fewest likes (laughs). But, I really wanted to try writing this episode once. It was necessary for the flow. I definitely couldn't have written it if it weren't fiction. Once I had a general idea of Kenshiro and Kyoro-chan's characters, I imagined what kind of Note Kyoro-chan would write. However, even though it was fiction, it was emotionally very tough. The posting time is also 23:30.I don't want to do it again (laughs) I made the text "*This is fiction" larger.

Husband's Side ④ (2024/8/10/6:30)

An unprecedented attempt to participate in the collaborative magazine "#MidsummerRelayNote" with a novel" (laughs).Zukki-san set it for Saturday, and I am grateful for that. Thank you very much. However, I learned that the relay note has more pressure in the second half once the assigned date approached. Moreover, the order was one before the anchor, Mikumayutan-san. And when I saw Aozora Chikuwa-san's super article, I still remember thinking, "Seriously, this is bad."
Because, even though it's a relay note, for the reader, "being made to read from the middle of a novel" is the worst, right? (laughs).
I was really wondering what to do, and I decided on "all-in". This episode was a miracle in a sense. If it hadn't been the order right before the anchor, it wouldn't have taken the form of touching on everyone's articles and passing the baton. I really played with the "all-in" concept.
As a result, it became the best-finished episode I've ever had, which I definitely couldn't have done alone.

Wife's Side ④ (2024/8/17/21:00)

I secretly activated the comment game I had set up in Wife's Side ③. Enter "Hokuto"-san. Actually, I had set this up on August 5th, the day of the points, but since it wasn't a Saturday, I was confident no one would notice (lol). Playing with comments was something I wanted to try from the beginning for a "novel that can only be written on note, unlike anything before".
On the other hand, the bit about the former Sailor Moon and former Kenshiro from the SoftBank commercial was something I discovered halfway through and incorporated because it was funny, but it wouldn't connect well and I lost track of what the story was about. In times like these, "#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout" is exceptionally useful. Konishi Kinoko-san, thank you for always helping me when I'm in trouble. Do you remember who the former Kenshiro was? Who the former Kenshiro was has absolutely nothing to do with the main story.
Kyororo-chan has activated her habit of jumping on the bandwagon again. Since we're near the end, I decided to let her play as much as she wants (lol). Why did she jump on the bandwagon there?

Husband's Side ⑤ (2024/8/24/8:30)

The items of marathon shoes and a notebook were actually not decided when I started. At the start, I only had the total of 10 episodes and the endings of the 5th and 10th episodes decided in advance. The 8th (Wife's Side ④) and 9th (Husband's Side ⑤) episodes were not clearly decided until quite close to the end. But in the end, these items played an important role. I even went one step away from making Kikuchi-san buy a Vuitton notebook in the real world.
I did want to try depicting how reality and personalities on SNS link with each other while alternating between them with Kenshiro and Kyoko, and Hokuto and Kyororo-chan. In the end, it was all's well that ends well (lol).
And now, Kenshiro's marathon race is finally about to begin.

I really got to play around in the world of note. There probably aren't many people who have played with a novel in the note space this much (usually, no one does such a thing).

This is a novel built on links with various people's notes. I apologize for doing this almost without permission, but I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the creators I involved. And, I'm sorry.
Since it's a novel of that nature, I can't release it as a paid distribution or a Kindle book anymore (lol).

What kind of note will Kyororo-chan write at the end?

For the end, I decided to play one more time and wrap it up by turning it from a "novel that can only be done on note" into a "note that can only be done in a novel".

Man, I've done it all. I don't know how it will be evaluated, but I'm satisfied because I've done it all (lol). But I think I'd be super happy if I got some feedback (lol). Since I'll be curious, Kyororo-chan usually writes at night, but tomorrow she will wake up early in the morning and post it. It will be posted at 6:30.

In the end, what did I want to write about in 135 consecutive days of posting?

It has become quite long.

Looking back on the 134 days, the starting point was indeed this article from day 1.

I think it was because of the daily posting that I was able to be conscious of this. The content I write every day is different. I write about completely different things every day. However, looking back on the 134 days, I have come to think that even though it looks like I'm writing about different things, I might actually just be writing the same thing over and over again. Also, I was able to interact with so many people during these 134 days. Thank you very much 😊

The final episode is also a completely different approach from my usual articles, but I wonder if I'll end up returning to my roots for the finale after all, that's the feeling I have.
