I picked up the amulet that Atsushi Watanabe once possessed.
Last Sunday (June 22, 2025), I picked up an amulet about three minutes away from my home.

On my way to Hakone Shrine, I was climbing the stairs when I saw it lying right in front of me. As someone who lives a mediumistic life, I always pick these things up because I feel they might have some significance, and when I picked it up, I saw it was an amulet from Naritasan. Speaking of Naritasan, the amulet that Atsushi Watanabe stomped on after getting into a fight with a bar mama in Nakano was a Naritasan amulet.
In other words, it was the Naritasan amulet that I had stomped on in a past life.
Previously, when I had a psychic acquaintance look into this matter with a light heart, asking, "What about Naritasan?", they told me, "It's scary, it's scary, it's turning bright red and is furious. Did you do something?"
Because of that, I was very hesitant about whether I should pick up this amulet. However, it was lying brand new and unopened right in my path, and I had gone down a road I don't usually take because I just felt like going that way today, so I thought there must be some great significance to this. I put it in my shirt's chest pocket and decided to take it with me for the time being. It was hot that day, so I wasn't wearing a jacket.
While walking, I wondered why this amulet had come to me.
Was it okay to have it? Would I be resented or cursed? I was thinking about various things when the words, "You have been forgiven. Your atonement is over," suddenly popped into my mind. I realized, 'Ah, that might be it. I have respected the gods and Buddhas through divination and served people...' and I felt like I was going to burst into tears. When I tear up like this, it's usually a sign that I've found the right answer, so I decided to take it as such.
After that, I opened the amulet's packaging, put it in my chest pocket, and got on the train.
While I was on the Odakyu line heading toward Hakone, I suddenly remembered what was said about Atsushi Watanabe's amulet.
Atsu-chantook out the Narita Fudo-sanamulet distributed by the temple, thatgold-plated talisman (amulet)from the inner pocket of his jacket
The moment I remembered this passage, I felt a chill.
The amulet that had been lying in front of me was also gold-plated and belonged to Fudo Myoo. Furthermore, I had put this amulet in my chest pocket almost unconsciously. I usually carry amulets in my bag or a pouch.
Without realizing it, I had picked up an amulet similar to the one Atsushi Watanabe had possessed, and I had stored it in the same place as Watanabe had.
Back then, I had lost my temper and stomped on the amulet, but with this gold-plated amulet coming back to me, I thought that perhaps I was being given a chance to redo the mistake of treating the amulet so poorly.
Since then, I have been keeping this gold-plated Naritasan amulet in my shirt's chest pocket every day.
Atsu must have also kept his Naritasan amulet in the inner pocket of his jacket every day like this. Thinking of that, I felt as if I could feel the daily life of Atsushi Watanabe in 1930 even more vividly.
That was a slightly mysterious story of a past life, and the story of an otaku reliving the life of Atsushi Watanabe.
The end.
