[Yayoi★Diary 187] Komeda's Coffee "Shiro-Noir Kurumicco" Limited Edition
2025/12/13
The region-limited "Shiro-Noir Kurumicco" went on sale starting 12/11.
I once received some Kurumicco from BENIYA from someone in Kanagawa.
To describe the texture, it's like a Snickers bar; it's a very rich confection that is highly satisfying, consisting of walnuts packed into caramel and sandwiched between butter cookies.
And now it's collaborating with Shiro-Noir!
How luxurious.
I absolutely have to eat this.
However, I, Yayoi★, live in Gunma, and I can't eat it within the prefecture.
No, I should eat it.
So, I crossed the border into Saitama.

Between warm Danish pastry, we have sandwiched bittersweet caramel paste and crushed sablé, and topped it with cool soft-serve ice cream drizzled with rich, deep caramel sauce.
The refreshing soft-serve ice cream brings out the depth of the two types of caramel (the bittersweetness of the paste and the rich sweetness of the sauce) and the fragrant aroma of the walnuts.
※Walnuts are served on the side. (2 bags for regular size / 1 bag for mini size)
Here is the actual thing↓↓↓

First of all, the walnuts are so fragrant.
The bittersweetness of the caramel sauce is just right, and the deep, rich feeling of Kurumicco is well-reproduced.
There is plenty of caramel paste between the Danish layers.
When I taste it carefully, I can properly feel the crunch of the crushed sablé in the paste as well.
It's a shame that my dull palate couldn't distinguish between the two types of caramel, though.
Isn't this a masterpiece that is highly satisfying?
Yayoi★ was left feeling warm and fuzzy after being able to eat this limited-edition Shiro-Noir that was worth crossing the border for.
