Continuing from last time, I would like to introduce some playlists and songs.

This time, I am introducing a playlist themed around "Dangerous Love".

This time, I would like to introduce "6 songs" from this "Dangerous Love" playlist that particularly moved me.

① Wanuka / Love Toxin

The idea of likening love to "poison" in this song is absolutely genius.
It expresses the state of falling into a dangerous love and becoming stained by the other person as "poison spreading throughout the body".

A love you cannot resist, even if you want to.
Accepting it even while feeling resistance.
And even feeling a sense of comfort in the sensation of being eroded.

In this song, it is described as "poison",
but I feel it is also similar to the sensation of alcohol spreading through your body when you drink.

Many of Wanuka's songs depict sensory and stimulating feelings of love that make you feel dizzy.
Just listening to it, it feels exactly like "beautiful poison" is spreading throughout your body.

2. Moimi Kashii / Cat Loving

This song is from the perspective of a cat being controlled by its owner.
But that is just a metaphor; I believe it is actually a song about a woman (human) suffering from domestic violence by her lover.

She is subjected to violence by her lover, given carrots and sticks alternately, and continues to be controlled.
She is capriciously given 'distorted love' and 'conditional love'.
And she ends up loving such a lover, falling into the swamp, becoming dependent, clinging on, and trying her best not to be pushed away.
Such painful, heartbreaking, admirable, precious, beautiful, dangerous, and mad love.

This is what you might call a 'girl who gets stuck in a swamp with a loser guy'.
Generally, I think there are pros and cons, and if anything, I think there are more negative opinions.
'You should stop seeing someone like that,' 'Break up with him soon,' 'That's not real love,' and so on.
It is 'society'

that says whatever it wants without even understanding the person involved. And she continues to love her partner and chooses to stay with him, to the point where she feels that even those 'voices of society'

The relationship itself isn't very good, but “my” feelings are truly pure, devoted, admirable, and precious.
Combined with that gap, it makes me want to cry when I listen to it.

I love the melody and rhythm of this song, of course, but more than anything, I was drawn to the “lyrics”.
Especially the opening part:
“Listening to the vocal cords of 'I love you', my brain was 100% filled. If this is acting, you could be an actor.”

The phrase “listening to vocal cords” and the expression “you could be an actor” both express the credibility of the “I love you.”

I want you to let me dream, even if just for this moment.
I want you to make me believe it's real love.
And if possible, I want you to try loving me.
I think that is, for “me,” at the very least, a “prayer”.

4. FINLANDS / Tokyo Electric

The lyrics of this song are also so good that just listening to them gives me goosebumps all over and makes me want to cry.
From beginning to end, it is packed with “jewels” of words, to the point where I don't even know which lyrics I should pick out.

Among them, the one that left the biggest impression on me was the lyric,
“I guess it’s fine if I can be your top news for just one night.”

The “I” who ended up in a one-night-only relationship with “you.”
To you, it might be an insignificant event that you’ll forget immediately.
Even so, for me, this night is a “once-in-a-lifetime” treasure.

If “I” can be top news to you, even for just one night.
That alone is enough to satisfy me and make me happy.
All the pain of my past is rewarded, all at once.

Also, the “I” in these lyrics never speaks ill of “you.”
“You who loved me kindly” is a lyric that perfectly expresses that.

Sacrificing myself, serving you, and dedicating everything to “you.”
Even if I am hurt after all that, “you” are not at fault.

No matter how far I go, I am a believer in “you.”

FINLANDS' songs are generally about religious and devoted “love.”
Just listening to them makes me feel like my heart is becoming beautiful.

5. syudou / Lifeline

This song is also “I can offer anything for your sake,” a form of ultimate love.

You are an existence like a “lifeline” to me.
I live while clinging to you and being held captive by you.

“You” are an existence that
saves my “life,” while also being an existence that
strangles me and keeps me in pain. However, even if I am tormented, “I” have no choice but to live by clinging to “you.” Because you are the

“light” that saved me in the past, I will continue to believe in you forever. The existence of “you” is like

a narcotic. It makes me forget temporary pain in an instant. But in the long term, the addiction will erode my body and keep me in pain.
This song is not like the “blindly believing followers” introduced so far;
rather, it feels like a song where one looks at oneself from a bird's-eye view, fully aware of past mistakes and the fact that one is falling into hell,


“Even so, that’s fine. I will continue to choose it.”

It is a song where
resignation and resolve are mixed together.

6. Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai x Tatsuya Kitani / Beast of Love

This song depicts a "twisted love". Originally, it was supposed to be a pure and beautiful love from "me" to "you".
And yet, now it has lost the radiance of its beautiful days and has been muddied and stained by "you".

The two of us are like "beasts" who only crave each other.
We seek each other, erode each other, and fall together.
A "codependent" relationship.

However, inside "me", the feelings from when it was still pure remain exactly as they were.
I hide away all the remaining love, the pain, the hardship, and the emptiness, deceiving myself
and acting as if such things don't even exist.
It is only upon that foundation that this fleeting and fragile relationship can finally exist.

The "me" in this song is fully aware that I am falling, and that this ending is a bad ending.
Even so, I cannot escape from "you".
There are no choices left other than to accept that fact and give up.

However, even if the form changes, and even if it becomes a bad ending, the fact that "a beautiful 'love' existed" does not change.
At the very least, I want to acknowledge that much.

Personally, I felt that this "love", described as having become "stained," was actually something beautiful.
Something that was pure and beautiful takes on stains, ugliness, and toxicity, changing into a color that you can't even name.
Including that process, I felt it was "beautiful".

Also, personally, I really love the jacket design for this song. It matches the content of the song so well that it feels exactly like "a perfect interpretation".
Two people who depend on each other, erode each other, and can no longer be apart.
Having become "one body and soul", if they try to be forcibly torn apart, they will both break and lose even their shape.

This time, I introduced songs about "dangerous love".

"Dangerous love" is generally seen in a negative light, with people saying, "You should stay away from it." However, if you read beyond the surface of that love and into its depths, you will find:

・Straightforward and sincere feelings
・Unwavering, strong resolve
・Heartbreaking, precious, painful, and beautiful emotions exist there.
