It arrived!!

You can copy apps, data, and settings from your previous Mac just by clicking using the "Migration Assistant." It's very easy.

It was about 50 gigabytes of data. I left it for about 30 minutes and the transfer was complete. I was able to have a meal in the meantime lol

I made a video right away, and
it really is fast!!

I felt that my previous MacBook Air M2 was fast enough, but the M4 is even faster than that.
I always work in iMovie, and the part of video editing that takes the most time is the final export, but this has become even faster.
Small details like displaying clips and adding captions are also slightly faster, and overall, the performance is excellent.

Especially if you are upgrading from a Mac with a CPU from a few generations ago, everything is on a completely different level.

The battery life is amazing!!

This is true for both the MacBook Air M4 and M2, but the battery lasts a very long time!

I watched YouTube videos while out and about,
and after watching for 1 hour, the battery still had about 99% left.
After 2 hours, it was about 96%.
It might be because the battery is still new, but it seems to have an energy-efficient CPU and high-performance battery that are on a different level from previous MacBooks.
