Law 35: 'The True Nature of Recurring Troubles Lies in Beliefs and Self-Image! How to Rewrite Yourself from the Subconscious'
Last time, I talked about how it is important to first know your
'values (priorities)' in order to know your true self.
So, why am I talking about'beliefs' and 'self-image'this time? It is because 'thinking alone does not make things a reality.'
What fundamentally determines your life is youridentity (self-definition = self-image) and your beliefs.
No matter how much the engine of 'belief' is running, as long as your self-image thinks, 'I am a person with an annual income of 3 million yen,' it is quite difficult to change it to an annual income of 10 million yen.
Because,
even if you run the engine of 'belief' and think, 'I'm going to earn more!', what happens if your underlying self-image is set to'I am a person who deserves an annual income of 3 million yen'??
Even if a chance to earn an annual income of 10 million yen happens to come along, your subconscious will judge it as, 'Wait, this is different from my settings,' and will unconsciously pull you back to the reality of 3 million yen.

■ The difference between 'belief' and 'self-image'
It's a bit complicated, so let's organize it simply.
Values (Compass): Things like 'freedom' and 'love' that determine the direction of your life.
Beliefs (Engine): Convictions about action, such as 'effort is rewarded' or 'I am loved'.
Self-image (OS/Basic Settings): A definition of yourself, such as 'I am a person who is...'

The reason I returned to my old self even after letting go of old beliefs and changing my reality during my belief exploration work in America was because
my ownself-image remained set to 'my annual income is 3 million.' Even if my salary went up and reality changed, my subconscious judged it as, 'This is different from my true self (annual income)!' and pulled me back to past patterns for the sake of safety.

■ The mechanism of consciousness: Why do we repeat things 'even though we know better'?
'People will eventually betray you'If you believe that,
even if you have a wonderful encounter, you might unconsciously doubt the other person or destroy the relationship yourself... This is the true nature of the 'recurring patterns' I mentioned at the beginning.
These powerful'beliefs' and 'self-image'are
deeply engraved in your subconscious (the unconscious realm). In fact, 'life programs' created from past experiences and education are written into this subconscious, which accounts for 95% of our consciousness.
If you feel like you 'want to change yourself but can't' right now, that is not because of your ability.
It is simply that the old beliefs in your subconscious and the
old self-image trying to protect them are acting as a brake.

✍️Here is today's exercise. Please try writing these out in your notebook.
Make a list of things you 'want to do but don't do': Explore the reasons why you don't do them. → For example, if the reasons are 'I have no talent,' 'I don't think it will go well,' or 'I lack confidence,' ask yourself why you think that way. The answer is your 'belief'.
Journaling (writing in a notebook): When you feel emotionally unsettled, write down your current feelings on paper just as they come to mind. Writing while you are emotional brings the beliefs in your subconscious to the surface.
Ask 'Why do I believe that?': If you have a belief like 'I cannot become rich,' explore the roots by asking, 'Why?' and 'Since when have I thought that?'
By noticing these beliefs, you can understand the cause, thinking, 'Ah, I was repeating this pattern because I believed this.'
💡 Going deeper: Discovering the true nature of your 'self-image (self-definition)'
Once you can see the true nature of your beliefs, let's take a look even deeper at 'what kind of person I think I am (self-image).'
Without trying to make it sound nice, dare to mutter 'Whatever...' in your heart, and write down your raw, slightly cynical honest thoughts in the (blanks) in your notebook intuitively without thinking too deeply.
'I am a ( ) person.' (e.g., someone who struggles alone, someone who isn't valued, someone with no luck with money, etc.)
'In order to be loved, I must be ( ).' (e.g., useful, patient, perfect, etc.)
'My work is, whatever, ( ).'
'For me, working means ( ).' (e.g., taking everything on alone and struggling desperately, the price of patience, pleasing others, something that must be done perfectly as a matter of course, etc.)
The words that slipped out into these (blanks) are the 'current self-image' that your subconscious is stubbornly protecting.
Because you have the self-image of 'I am a person who struggles alone,' the belief (rule) that 'I must not rely on others' was born; the dots should connect. This is a big step in the journey to meeting your true self.
📚 5 questions to let go of and rewrite old beliefs
-
'Does that rule make you 'free' as you are now? Or does it 'restrict' you?'
Your childhood beliefs were a 'shield' that protected you at the time, but they might now be a 'cage' that traps you. Ask yourself whether that belief is expanding you or shrinking you.
-
'If that belief were 100% wrong, how would your life change?'
This forces your brain to search for new options.
-
'Would you want to teach those words to your best friend or your precious child as a "rule that must be followed"?'
If it is a rule you would not want to teach someone you love, then you no longer need to follow it yourself.
-
'What is the "benefit (hidden sense of security)" you are gaining by continuing to hold onto that belief?'
This is a slightly harsh question, but it is important. For example, it exposes the hidden intention of your subconscious, such as: 'It is safer to hold onto money blocks and not take action than to try, fail, and get hurt.'
-
'If you were to start a new life from today, what kind of "new rules" would you want to install?'
This is a question about the future. Instead of words decided by someone in your past, you define your own 'new beliefs' to live comfortably from now on.
First, try writing down in a notebook which of these five questions made you feel the most uneasy.
Which of these questions resonates with you the most right now? If you would like, why not use it as a base to create a 'new belief (rewritten words)'?
May your heart be filled with calm and reassuring love✨💖
