Review of the previous post (Summary)

In the previous post ①,
I wrote about how I decided to
brainstorm ideas as preparation
for resuming my serialization
on Shousetsuka ni Narou.

First, starting with an explanation of the characters
I met in my dreams, who also appear
as characters in the novel.

In ①, I wrote about Mepiru the chick,
which also served as a way to brainstorm ideas.

I explain that I view communication with them
as an application and practice of active imagination
in Jungian psychology.
It is distinct from what is commonly called delusion.

There are four internal characters (four people?), and
since I plan to write about them in the order I began interacting with them,
in this second part, I will talk about
the initial animus: Gigatech the one-eyed demon.

👁 Internal Character: About Gigatech the one-eyed demon

▶ The first encounter event with Gigatech was a truly terrifying experience!

Gigatech is the internal character
who was born after Mepiru.

I have previously summarized the details
of Gigatech's birth
in a note.

Since this is just a record of
image work on note,
it is not written as a story.

That said, the Gigatech encounter event itself
was an RPG-like experience, so
even though I intended to compile it as a psychological record,
I think it can be read as a kind of story.

※I plan to turn this into a story
based on this post in the future.

▶A character whose transformation is surprising once again

While writing this post,
I re-read the record of the Gigatech first encounter event,
and it really is a super disturbing development lol

It's a typical RPG thing, or rather,
a typical deep trauma thing💦

It feels like a miracle
that we can now communicate
so calmly.

🖐️Various Gigatech abilities are manifesting

▶Good at defensive magic and new skills discovered

Regarding Gigatech's special abilities,
I have summarized them before in the character introduction, but
in addition to the protective curtain and
healing hands that manifested first,
a new skill has been discovered.

It seems like an application or evolved version of the protective curtain,
and I call it the protective membrane.
It's confusing, so
I want to give it a different skill name😓

The protective curtain seems to work like a guardian of the space, while
the membrane wraps around me personally.

The curtain is the protection for the entire space,
while the membrane is a protective field that wraps around the individual
it seems.

The protective curtain looks like a
canopy over a bed,
but the protective membrane looks like a
seven-colored soap bubble wrapping around me, so
I am using the tentative name 'membrane'.

When wrapped in this soap bubble,
I feel very relaxed and comfortable.
I think it is likely a skill
to strengthen boundaries.

▶ Skilled at various percussion instruments

Each of the internal characters has
music or instruments they are good at.
The initial setting was that Gigatech is good at
djembe and Japanese drums.

When I asked if he could also play these kinds of percussion instruments,
and had him try, he became able to play
various percussion instruments like cajons, bongos, and gamelan balls.

Or rather, Gigatech is a character who doesn't talk at all and
is too reserved,
so when I ask, 'Gigatech, could you also do this?'
'This would suit you!'

'Could you try it?', it feels like
he acquires it as a skill
corresponding to that.

The only things he manifested on his own
were the protective curtain and the healing hands.
I think this is where he is
different from other internal characters.

At first glance, he is a rugged ogre, but
the gap of being a kind-hearted, quiet, and reserved existence
is what makes him a cute character.
