3D Printer Production Log #14 TOD2 Judas Part 2

Good evening.
Continuing from last time, this is the production log for Judas (from Tales of Destiny 2). Since I decided on the pose last time, this time I tried printing and painting while keeping the lessons from last time in mind!
*Note The 3D model introduced in this article is a fan-made creation (unofficial fan art) produced by an individual as a hobby. It is in no way related to the official creators or copyright holders.

First, let's start by fixing the failures from last time.

Although I tried printing it last time, the hair parts were damaged because they overlapped with the mask, so I adjusted the hair into a slightly more settled shape.

Well, it's mostly hidden by the mask anyway, right? ^^;

I checked by setting the mask in place just in case.

I performed a boolean operation and adjusted it so that there would be fewer overlapping areas.

Don't forget to split the front hair and back hair.

I tried splitting it like this!

Decided to make a base as well.

To resolve the second failure from last time—that it wouldn't stand on its own because the center of gravity was off—I decided to make it in the style often seen in figures, where you create a base and fit the feet into it. The "Ura-shiki: Gessen Kyohou" I'm making this time had a ground surface in the game that looked like ripples spreading on the water's surface, so I wondered, "How do you do that in ZBrush?" I looked it up and found that a feature called Alpha is good for this, so I tried using it.

I thought later that it would have been better if the unevenness was a bit clearer > <

This is what it looked like after printing.

After fine-tuning, it's time to print!

I also fine-tuned the clothes and cape before printing! I made it smaller than the size I printed last time, and printed it so that it would be 150mm from the top to the bottom of the moon.
*I feel like I haven't had many print failures since I started using white resin!

Since the print size is small, I couldn't paint the face very carefully...

I painted the whole thing and it's finished!

It looks pretty good!

The dowels at the feet were weak and unstable, so I reinforced them with clear resin, but it actually made it look more like a water surface, which was nice! It would be beautiful if I could also make water effects.

Here is the front view as well.

Lastly

Although it ended up smaller this time due to size limitations, I thought that small figures might actually be good when you want to bring out the coolness of a special move. When a figure is about 20cm tall, you can see the facial expressions well, which is nice in its own way, but having your favorite things packed into a palm-sized object is also quite good!
Well, there are various challenges, but I want to improve my hand-painting skills—I wonder if there's a good way to do that... I'll look into it.
Thank you for reading until the end! I haven't decided what to make next, but I'll continue to enjoy the process!
