Let's Assemble!

🔧 How to assemble the Maker Chip Holder

I printed the Maker Chip Holder, but...

"Which screw goes where!? 😂"

So, I've put together a guide on how to assemble it.

1. Start with the base

Prepare the bottom part.

Insert M2 screws into the three holes on the front left and right.

2. Set the rubber bands

Attach the rubber bands to the screws and place them in the designated positions.

Two spots, left and right. (M2 screws)

3. Set the chip ejection part

Place the part that ejects the Maker Chip on top.

Hook the rubber band into the groove on the part.

4. Secure the top part

Stack the top part and secure it with screws in 6 places.

State with 4 screws fastened (M2 screws)

5. Attach the ejection part

Attach this part here 👇

I attached an M3 screw (20mm length).
Also attached a nut on the back.

⑥ Attach the screw part to the top and install the second rubber band.

Hook the rubber band as shown in the diagram.

⑦ Attach the head and you're done!

Attach the printed head by twisting it on, and you're finished!✨

It's done!✨🎉

🔩 About the small parts

The two small parts are used like this!

The head part is made a bit loose so that it can accommodate any type of filament.

If it's too loose, please adjust it yourself by wrapping vinyl tape or similar around it.👌
Please refer to the master's image✨👇 (Also check out the Ikemame version of the head☠️🖤)

🛠 Modeling tool used this time

The icon head model this time was made using Womp3D !

It's a tool that you can operate intuitively, so please give it a try!🤗

By the way, if you change the unit from inches to centimeters (millimeters) in the numerical settings, it becomes much easier to adjust the size for 3D printing.💛

♲ How to change units

Please try clicking in the order of ① to ④ to change it.✨

in and then click Chanige units
Measurement units and select either mm or cm, whichever you prefer

🪄Output method for printing

Share button to download the 3D mesh

Share, select Download 3D mesh
STL and Export to finish!

Please see the previous article for how to make the head model🚀
