Happy Writing Marathon #49 | If a wonderful coincidence were to happen tomorrow, what do you think it would be?

Hello, I'm Miyu🌿

I work full-time remotely as a company employee while raising two children. In the midst of days where I tend to overthink, I write about the things I have been gradually organizing.

If a "wonderful coincidence" were to happen tomorrow.

For me, perhaps that is not something special.
Today, I would like to write about the "wonderful coincidences" that exist in everyday life.

🌿A pleasant awakening

Morning.
A weak, buzzing vibration travels to my left wrist.
The culprit is my smartwatch alarm.

I always wake up to that vibration.

Looking at the watch, it's the time I planned.
"Oh, I managed to wake up properly."

I have never been good with loud alarm clocks.

A sudden"Beep beep, beep beep"loud sound.
It feels like being forcibly dragged back from sleep into reality, which makes me feel unsettled.

In the morning, I want to wake up naturally.
That is why I like my current method of waking up naturally to vibration.

…Of course, it doesn't go well every day.
Usually, I wake up on the second vibration of the three alarms I have set.

There are days when I am too tired to notice it.
There are also days when the watch falls off while I am sleeping.

At such times, I occasionally oversleep.

But today, I woke up feeling refreshed.
On mornings like that, I feel like I can spend the day pleasantly.

🌿A refreshing morning greeting

Once the morning chores settle down, I glance at the clock.
It's about time to wake the children.

Before I know it, my younger child is standing in front of me.

"Good morning❗️"
With a beaming smile and a full-of-energy voice.

Seeing that, I feel energized myself.

"Good morning. You're full of energy today too❗️"

Hearing my voice, the child shyly smiles.
We smile at each other and exchange morning greetings.

…There are mornings when we can talk and laugh like that, and then there are days when...
"Aaaah!"
"Stop it!"
Sibling fights start from the morning.

Siblings with a six-year age gap.
Even so, I always wonder why they fight so much.
I convince myself that it must be because they care about each other that much.

🌱 🌱 🌱

On the way to school, I walk with my younger child who has just started first grade.

On the way, there is the house of their grandparents.
Sometimes we go to check on them, so I walk with them part of the way.

Grandpa is always waiting in front of the house at the usual time.

"I'm off!"
The child calls out energetically and runs off toward school from there.

I see them off with my elderly family member.

That they are still healthy and unchanged today.
I think that alone is something to be very grateful for.

🌿A peaceful end to the day

Nighttime.
It's time for a bedtime story.

Tonight, I'm reading Satoshi Kako's "Karasu no Panya-san" (The Crow Bakery).
It's a favorite book that we've read many times.

There's a scene where crows appear one after another.

Every time, I find myself speaking quickly here.
To read out the names of the appearing crows rhythmically and all at once.

Then, my child's eyes go wide as they say, "It's a traffic jam!"
They get so excited at the same part every time.
Seeing that reaction makes me happy, too.

Today, we enjoyed the world of the picture book to the fullest, and then I closed the book with a snap.

……Of course,
there are days when it doesn't end there.

After that, the siblings start arguing,
"Why are you touching it!"
"No!"
There are days when voices like that echo.

Sometimes, I get a little fed up
with the loud noises right before bedtime.

But today, everyone is calm.

🌙 🌙 🌙

Before going to sleep.
In our house, we always exchange the same words.

"Happiness, love, thank you, goodnight❗️"
We say that and give each other a tight hug.

It's a precious habit that has continued for a long time.
While wondering how long they'll keep doing this with me, I feel grateful for this happiness "right now."

What is a coincidental miracle?

Waking up feeling refreshed in the morning.
Being able to greet my family with a smile.
Spending a peaceful time reading picture books.

Each one is a small part of daily life.

At first glance, they might not seem special.
But to me, this accumulation is something special.

A day where "I'm glad" moments stack up.
To me, that is a "coincidental miracle."

May this "coincidental miracle" happen tomorrow 🕊️

This is my first attempt at the "Happy Writing Marathon" 🙌

I've seen people around me posting, and I've always wanted to try it myself.
But I didn't have the confidence to write well, so I couldn't take the first step.

Janet's post was so wonderful that I decided to give it a try this time❗️

Janet, thank you for the wonderful article 😊
(If mentioning your article is inconvenient, please let me know 🙇)

This is my second attempt at a project article this month.
I'm trying to change the flow and add variety to reflect on myself ✨️✨️

I finally managed to post it❗️
Thank you to everyone who read this far ☺️
