The Treasures I Found at Beauty Japan

Gaining a brilliant future with a dual license as a nurse and a beautician.
I am NANIWA's cool Beauty, Kaori Kato, a single mother who turned her life around.
I was honored to receive the Beauty Award at the Beauty Japan NANIWA competition.
And now, I am taking on the challenge of Beauty Japan 2025.

Only 7 days left until Beauty Japan 2025!
At this point, I am moved by the magnitude of the treasure that is meeting these people.

Presentation practice that started with Katie's invitation.

"Kaorin, let's practice our presentations!"
Despite how I look, I am actually extremely shy.
(People often tell me they can't tell, though!)
Apparently, Katie is also super shy, too! Haha.
When we first met,

"We're kind of similar."

We are also very similar in that we are both crybabies! Haha.
That is exactly why I was able to open my heart to her.
Learning about money is important to protect the people you love.
As a single mother, she is someone I can truly empathize with.

Minami-chan, who is overflowing with kindness.

From the Wellness Area to the Japan competition.
Actually, since we both live in the Kansai region, she always listened to me on the way back from inspections.
She is a bundle of kindness.
Her advice on presentations is also top-notch.

Minami-chan has scoliosis.
The beauty of asymmetry is a beauty that only Minami-chan can express.
That is why I felt that her kindness, which cares for the body, is overflowing.

Touching Minami-chan's kindness made me think that humans are wonderful.

Rikachun, the epitome of cute.

"A mindset of being loved."
To be loved, you must cherish and love yourself.
Because she loves herself, Rikachun can also value respect for others, and she is overflowing with love and gratitude.

I also learn a lot from her, as she is a great listener who thinks of others and knows how to nod along.
She is also really good at lifting my spirits.
Thank you for meeting me.

We just happened to be in the same hotel room, but I believe it was a fated encounter for me.
(I call us the 'God-tier members'!)

There are so many more grand finalists I want to introduce.

They are all people made of kindness and strength.
This is what Beauty is.

Everyone has cried, worried, and felt like giving up on their own dreams.
But we all have one thing in common.

We want to make society and the future shine for the sake of others and for ourselves.

It's a gathering of women like that!
Isn't that amazing!?

We could live normal lives without entering a contest, and we wouldn't have to face the pain of confronting ourselves or the desire to run away.

But even with those feelings, we didn't run away; we kept running.
Why is that?

I did it because I believed in myself✨
It's because there's a future I want to change and a future I want to become✨
I will definitely deliver it!
A group of women like that, that is Beauty Japan✨

That is why I was able to encounter, learn about,
and feel so many different thoughts and feelings.
I believe it wasn't a coincidence, but that it was inevitable that I met everyone.
I truly think so.

Just this alone
is more than enough reason to have participated in Beauty Japan.

I met many companions
and was able to touch upon many different thoughts and feelings.
I can truly say this with pride.

The companions I met here,
the time we spent together,
the places and things that polished us,
and myself.

Everything is a treasure.
