A Full-Effort Self-Introduction Aiming for Relaxed Happiness

A Greeting for Our First Meeting

Nice to meet you.
It has been three months since I started on note. I thought it was about time I wrote a bit about myself, so I decided to create this self-introduction page.

I hope to find happiness in a relaxed way🍀

That is what I think, as a laid-back person.
I rarely get angry.
But, I do get irritable when I'm hungry🤣

My Personal Timeline (A Rough Career Overview)

Born and raised in Osaka in 1975.
The things I can't talk about from my youth will go to the grave with me (lol).
Here is what I can write down👇

Age 30: Succeeded in quitting smoking. Started stock investing and blogging.
Age 33: Bought a condo as a single woman (already sold).
Age 36: Quit my corporate job and started an izakaya.
Age 38: Got married.
Age 39: Gave birth -> gained a lot of weight postpartum.
Age 41: Started a landlord business (already sold).
Age 44: Used the pandemic as an opportunity to switch from an izakaya to a bento shop🍱
Age 47: Succeeded in quitting alcohol and dieting.
Age 49: Started note and YouTube.

I'm clicking away on my PC in between running the bento shop💻️

My Life and Things I Treasure

I love cats.

I used to live with a cat.
They are no longer with me, but they are always in my heart.
They brought me happiness.

A Big Family

I have a big family now.
It's lively with medaka fish, axolotls, and plants.
For some reason, a family of starlings moved in behind the ventilation fan. (It's a bit of a problem🤣) But sometimes, I find myself saved by their chirping in the morning. I even say good morning to them🐣

My son is my reason for living

My son is still in elementary school, but he gave me a reason to live.
I feel like everything in my life up until now has finally fallen into place.
It was all necessary for me to become this child's mother.

Days Spent Organizing Through Words

Word Enthusiast

I believe that words have power.
I truly believe this because I have been saved by words many times in my life.
I am a "word enthusiast" who also loves collections of famous quotes.

That is why I don't really post negative things.
I make a conscious effort not to say them.
Because I feel like I might get pulled in that direction.

Maybe I'm just simple and easily influenced? (lol)

I want to continue writing and reading, taking my time and being careful with each one.

All I need are books and movies

I love books and movies.
Sometimes, I also write reviews of the movies I've watched.

I watch all kinds of movies, but I especially love reading and watching fantasy.

I've loved books since I was little, and I was the type who conquered the children's book section of the elementary school library. I like novels, but ever since I was in elementary school, I've loved the 'Chiteki Ikikata Bunko' (Intellectual Lifestyle Library) series, and I've always read self-help books like 'How to Use Your 24 Hours a Day'.

I write and organize my thoughts on note

On note, I write about 'self-help for living a relaxed life'.

Among them, the one I value most is Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich'.

Put your wishes into words, take action, and make them come true.

For a 'word enthusiast' like me, there is no philosophy that fits better than this.

Deep breaths are important

I live a relaxed and happy life, taking it easy and not pushing myself too hard🍀
(...though sometimes, I feel like I might be pushing myself?)

If you ever feel like 'I'm a bit tired' or 'I want to get myself back on track'—
I would be happy if we could share a moment here where we can take a deep breath together🌿

Actually, there is still so much more, but I'll leave it at this for now.

Because I was taught that not trying too hard is also a form of strength.

To those who find it hard to say goodbye

To those who are suffering because you have to say goodbye even though there is still so much you want to convey.

You've felt so much, thought so much,
and even though you felt like there was still more to come andthere were things you truly wanted to cherish, it's hard to say goodbye, isn't it?

But that feeling of 'there's still more' isproof that you have lived with all your heart,
so I thought, what if you could see saying goodbye not as an 'end,' but as
something that continues by changing its form?

Thoughts become words.
Words transcend time and remain.
Maybe I'll turn all the 'things I want to convey' that I'm still holding onto into seeds and preserve them forever.

Perhaps someday,
in words or in the life that lies ahead,
they might slowly sprout🌱

I don't know what they'll turn into, though (lol)

Next to every goodbye,
a beginning sits quietly, and I want to believe that things will continue, just in a different form.

Here is the story of the cat who was with me👇

This is the reason why I started note👇

Here is the story of the messy version of me from back then, which is now just a funny anecdote👇

Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich' doesn't come true just by wishing for it. You have to put it into words and take action. I've created a roadmap, so if you'd like, please try practicing it to make your own dreams come true too.👇️
