[Materials Available] Marie has changed her icon
I've changed my icon.
This is sudden, but I am planning to monetize this note account in the near future.
When that happens, just like with accounts that only post on social media or free notes,
even things that might be overlooked in the scope of non-profit personal use,
will require strict self-restraint regarding copyright issues.
The icon I had been using until now was just a cropped image
of a copyrighted character intended for a PC wallpaper.
That image was one I had used as a profile picture on various platforms
like LINE, X, and Threads since I was in high school.
I love the character itself, and it was an image I had grown attached to over many years.
However, if I am going to run this note as a commercial venture,
I really can't keep using a copyrighted character as is.
This is something I had always thought I would have to do someday
ever since I started writing on note.
The trigger that turned 'someday' into 'do it now'
The trigger was an exclusive project for KOTAYA's membership, 'KOTAYA's Accomplices.'
I participate as one of the 'accomplices,'
and I consider myself a fairly enthusiastic accomplice.
Then, an incredible project came up.
Since it's a membership-exclusive article, I will avoid mentioning the content.
But the title alone is too compelling. It's intense.

I digressed a bit, but for this project, I needed a 'humanoid character'
to be used. Also, I thought, 'Since I have to do it eventually anyway, I can't miss this opportunity.'
At this moment, I decided to create Marie.
But because this is my avatar that I will be with from now on,
I couldn't cut corners with a rush job. I made it seriously.

This is what Marie is like as a character
My character, Marie, is an original character with a white cat motif.
Fluffy white hair and clear blue eyes,
white cat ears, and a large pink ribbon on her head.
I designed her as a character with an elegant and sweet, yet slightly mischievous atmosphere.
Those who know my previous icon or can guess from her name and appearance might already know,
but the design includes respect and homage to the Disney character of the same name.
The standard standing illustration has proportions closer to an adult woman rather than a young girl,
and is based on a calm atmosphere.
The chibi variations bring out the sweetness and loveliness typical of a white cat even more,
and I have prepared several patterns so they can be used according to the purpose.
By the way, in her settings, she is left-handed. This is the same as the person behind the character.
Since I am creating her as my avatar, I made parts that link to reality.
