I am lucky to have met you in this place

I was lucky

I was thinking about something recently.

I am,
truly lucky.

I discovered note,
and I have been able to read many people's articles,

and each time,
I have received insights and lessons.

And,
I have also had warm thoughts returned to me
in the comments I left.

I have been encouraged,
received kind words,
and been saved by casual remarks.

Every day I don't have enough time,
and I would end up spending time on note until bedtime,
sometimes leading to a lack of sleep.

In the midst of that,

“Please make sure you get enough sleep”
“You don't need to reply”
“Don't push yourself too hard”

Every time I was told things like that,
ah...
I realized there are people watching over me,
and my heart was warmed many times over.

I have,
encountered many thoughts in this place.

To be thought of so warmly,
to be able to receive such kindness,

I think,
that is truly a happy thing.

Surely,
this kind of luck,
is quite rare, isn't it.

When asking a successful person,
“What is the secret to your success?”

it is said that those who have achieved truly great things
often say this.

"I was lucky."
"I was fortunate."
"Success was just luck."

I wondered,
why is that?

Talent, effort, and willpower are important, but

I feel that the words "I was lucky"
contain the sentiment
that I wasn't alone.

Chance encounters,
and coincidental timing,

behind them
is someone's kindness or presence,

and when we realize that,
I think that's when people can say "I'm lucky."

"It's thanks to everyone."
"Thank you."

I feel that these feelings
are packed into this one phrase.

From now on, I also

instead of saying "I did it all by myself,"

"The reason I could come this far
is thanks to the people I've met."

I want to be someone who can think that way.

People who can say they are lucky
