The day I received a message from CrowdWorks Agent. Hourly-paid jobs might actually be pretty amazing.
A while after I started using CrowdWorks,
I suddenly received a message from something called "CrowdWorks Agent."
It seems a representative sent it to me after looking at my profile and registered job categories.
What I realized at this moment was that
**you really should fill out your profile properly!**
What is CrowdWorks Agent?
It's a little different from regular CrowdWorks,
and jobs via the agentmostly seemed to be long-term, hourly-paid positions.
It's a system where a dedicated representative introduces jobs to registered workers individually, saying, "How about this kind of job?"
And I was surprised to find that many of the hourly rates were higher than regular part-time jobs.
When I saw the information sent to me at first, I couldn't help but become very interested.
Are there any jobs I could do while raising children?
At the time, my children were still small, and although they were attending nursery school,
there were often times when they would "run a fever" or need "sudden time off."
So, the jobs I looked for were mainly
relatively simple data entry tasks that I could do from home and manage to handle while watching my children.
And then—
there were actually quite a few! And most of them paid over 1,000 yen per hour.
Furthermore, for jobs requiring more specialized skills,
there were quite a few that paid around 2,000 yen per hour, and I looked at the details closely while thinking, "I hope I can do jobs like this someday."
Popular jobs are, as expected, highly competitive
I was receiving job information from CrowdWorks Agent almost every single day.
However, just because I applied didn't mean I would get the job immediately.
Data entry jobs in particular seemed popular, and I had the impression that the number of applicants would increase rapidly as soon as a posting went up.
I applied for a few myself, but
at first
"We regret to inform you..."
I remember feeling quite down after receiving those replies one after another.
But strangely enough, after receiving those replies a few times, I gradually got used to it (laughs).
By the end, I was thinking,
"I'll just send it in! If I get it, I'm lucky!"
With that kind of mindset, I was actively challenging myself with any projects that caught my interest.
Next time...
Next, I plan to write about the things I was careful about when applying through CrowdWorks Agent.
I would like to summarize, in a down-to-earth way, how I wrote my application messages, the points I checked, and what I felt as a beginner.
