Moving between 'displaying' and 'wearing.' The thoughts behind my artistic brooches
Don't you have days when your spirits suddenly sink?
Days where you work hard for others and realize you've put yourself last.
At times like that,
if only there were 'something' to soften your heart just a little—
that thought was the starting point for creating this piece.
This work is a 'story'
housed within an antique-style frame.
Delicately layered jewels and pearls,
and parts that shine quietly when they catch the light.
It is glamorous, yet somehow calm,
a presence where strength and gentleness coexist.
I feel that it is just like
the image of someone living their life to the fullest.
This piece is not just for 'displaying' or 'wearing.'
・When you want to lift your spirits a little
・When you want to tell yourself 'it's okay'
・When you want a gentle push before meeting someone
It is a presence that gently stays by your side in those moments.
Beyond just displaying it in your room and enjoying the view,
when you actually pair it with a denim jacket or a coat,
it instantly makes your 'individuality' stand out.
But what I truly want to deliver,
more than the beauty of its appearance,
is the 'feeling that changes when you wear it.'
Until now, I have witnessed
many people choosing their pieces.
I have seen many moments
where someone who wasn't smiling
smiles upon seeing the work.
And then, they start to smile
and talk to me,
sharing various thoughts and feelings.
Through that, I strongly felt that
people are not drawn to 'things',
but to the thoughts and emotions imbued within them.
That is why,
for every single piece,
I create them with the wish,
'I want to be a presence that gently supports someone's heart.'
If this piece
could bring even a little color or peace to your daily life,
there would be nothing that makes me happier.
I will continue to share
works that stay close to the heart.
If you'd like, please follow me,
and I would be happy if you looked forward to my next piece.
