Notification-chan...! Please wake up...! A story about that.
Notification-chan (tentative) plays an important role as the doorbell of my entrance.
Checking for her, the bell-shaped icon sitting at the top right of the web version of note, is my daily routine.
She is a lifeline for me, and the numbers displayed are the number of threads of fate connecting me to other people.
Without this, the precious chance of "a chance meeting is also a result of fate from a previous life" would fly away somewhere.
That is why I place absolute trust in Notification-chan, wanting her to hold onto those connections for me.
…Or so I thought.
When it matters most, Notification-chan is nodding off!
She's fast asleep and won't let me know about the presence of visitors…!
Simply put, the notifications aren't coming.
Hey, "Notification-chan"?!
That name is a total misnomer.
Get it together!
So.
First, I would like to start with an apology on behalf of my home's unfaithful one.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond for so long, even though you mentioned Nekokure!
I don't know if this will serve as an apology, but to the users who visited while my Notification-chan was fast asleep:
I would like to introduce you this time while including quotes!
Naseka @ Philosopher of the Reiwa Era
Thank you so much for always leaving comments…!
Even though you read the books I wrote at length and mentioned Nekokure in your articles, I didn't notice…😢
I will visit you with all my might, Notification-chan and a box of sweets in hand!
Naseka-san, whose evolution never stops, even starting a magazine.
Nekokure is secretly surprised…!
Yuni-san
Yuni-san, who holds the title of "Comment Queen" in my heart!
Recently, it seems the official note team is feeling that aura as well, and you've finally been featured in a magazine, making you a huge success both inside and out…✨
Please continue to spread your charm far and wide~~~~!
It is true that notifications might be harder to get with short posts?
Hiiro-san
Hiiro-san, who occasionally adds Nekokure's articles to your magazine.
Hiiro-san truly savors note. You love writing, reading, and "loving things." …That's a strange way to put it, but I get the feeling that you love the whole structure of "liking" things.
I'm sure many people's hearts have been lightened by your articles. Of course, I am one of those people who has received that sense of ease from you. Thank you so much!
Hiiro-san's icon is just too adorable✨
Is it an illustration you made yourself?
Edase Yasushi @ The Teacher is Amazing!
Even though Nekokure calls you "Teacher!" so familiarly, you welcome me kindly, Edase-sensei! If there were a note classroom, you would definitely be the homeroom teacher. If not, I would protest strongly to the principal.
I was surprised to see Nekokure introduced briefly as the inspiration for the "Minna no Uta" magazine. Thank you so much. I will sing my heart out in the staff room and classroom from now on🎤
The goal is to make the teacher listen, so I don't care!
Shanshan-san
Wow, my books have been placed so secretly that I'm already tearing up.
I'm truly sorry I couldn't react in real-time, and I'm also so grateful that you read them—it's a mix of emotions right now 😢
And this might be a shocking fact, but... my name is actually meant to be broken up as "Nekogure/Teneko"...!
But I have to admit, I also thought "Nekogurete/Neko" sounded cute by mistake...!
Please feel free to call me whichever you prefer...!
Maybe I should change my name.
A certain hairdresser's rambling diary
This is a case where I thought, 'Notification-chan, how much are you NOT working?! Argh!' I'm truly sorry~~~ and thank you for mentioning me in your article. The hairdresser is someone whose long-form writing sensor in me reacts strongly to, and it's very profound...!
I happened to hear your voice once on an X Space, and I have the impression that your writing and your speaking voice are exactly the same.
I'll take my time to come and savor it again!
Kaoru-san
Nekogure found the 'Zenzenzense' of the real Kaoru-san. It resonated so deeply with me that when I added it to my magazine, Notification-chan (who lives in Kaoru-san's old account and is much more competent than mine) started pulsing—is this a twist of fate? What on earth is going on, Da Vinci?
Perhaps the recommendation section of note, disguised as a coincidence, is mocking our panicked state...! Forgive me~~~n... no, I forgive you! Rather, I have nothing but gratitude.
It's really good that by visiting your past account, you were able to clear one of the concerns that had been nesting in Kaoru-san's heart. In a sense, thinking that you were playing a 'New Game+' makes your polished writing skills make perfect sense.
You've been sharpening them for so long...! It makes me feel like I need to keep working hard too, Nekogure...!
Perhaps if I keep writing, these kinds of encounters will continue to increase.
I wonder if the sensitivity at the root of it all is something that shines forever.
Once again, thank you so much for opening up to me✨
...It's so hard to read /(^o^)\
Could it be that ego-searching is also necessary?
If Notification-chan isn't going to do her job, I only have one method left.
Ego-searching—is that all I have left?
No, ego-searching...
I'm just a humble ordinary person, and I've been completely unrelated to such things.
In the first place, I don't even have the idea of ego-searching.
I've never done it until now, and I never even dreamed that I would appear in search results...
The trigger for noticing this Notification-chan sabotage incident wasposting an article on the sub-account I recently openedthat I had.
When you all post articles on note, you use tags, right?
At that time, I thought, 'Oh, I'll just tag "Nekogure Teneko" as a lead to my main account for now.'
And when I tried entering it,
'Nekogure Teneko 1 result'
'Nekogure Teneko-san 1 result'
the suggestions appeared.
Huh?
Did I register that before...?
So when I suddenly searched for 'Nekogure Teneko', it was discovered that Notification-chan had been slacking off...!
Hey, Notification-chan?!
Suspecting that Notification-chan might have narcolepsy, I gathered some information, and it seems like these are the general characteristics.
・Tweets have a high probability of not triggering a notification
・Citations on profile pages do not trigger notifications
・Citations on magazine pages do not trigger notifications
・Tags do not trigger notifications
・If you cite multiple articles by the same noter within the same article, only one notification is sent
・Depending on the order of citation, there are cases where no notification is sent at all? (e.g., magazine page -> personal page -> article citation)
You might need to be careful about these things when citing.
There are even situations where passionate messages don't reach the person themselves...!
Since we are using note, an interactive communication service, I want to make sure I catch them properly.
The world is in the Age of Discovery for Ego-Searching, by Oshi no Ko
Surely, periodic ego-searching is necessary.
No, ego-searching is not something to be ashamed of.
It is not. Yes, this is by no means (/ω\)
That's right, it's for communication and for interaction.
It's nothing to be ashamed of.
I won't be ashamed until I win. (Self-suggestion)
As you can see, Nekokure feels tremendous shame at the word "ego-search".
That said, it's not an ego-search to satisfy a desire for approval, but an ego-search to catch information and interact.
I'm not feeling ashamed...! I'm not...!
For now, maybe it would be good to set up an ego-search day once a week...?
If you utilize an RSS reader like Feedly, you might be able to extract them by keyword...!
I think I'll gradually work on building a system for this too!
Once again, thank you for mentioning Nekokure...!
...And look!
Notification-chan, don't just sleep there, bow your head with me! *pulls*
