Your note articles turned into 4-panel manga e-books. I created "4-koma no+e"
I have created an application called "4-koma no+e" that automatically generates e-books (EPUB) from your note articles, which you can then publish on platforms like Kindle.
It started with my own desire to turn my note articles into 4-panel manga, so I tried converting the articles I wrote last year. Since I'm using note, I figured others might want to do the same, so I built the "4-koma no+e" application based on the program I created at that time.
I feel that many of the articles written on note have very compelling content. However, I also felt that there were high hurdles to turning them into published works. Many creators want to focus on their creative work, so making publications often gets pushed to the back burner. Therefore, I developed this application to let a program handle the tedious tasks that tend to get postponed.
4-koma no+e
As for what kind of service it is, it literally uses AI to summarize your note articles and generate 4-panel manga images. Then, it compiles the created images into a single EPUB e-book. The works you create can be read on Kindle or Apple Books, and you can actually sell them on the Kindle Store. You can see what kind of things can be created by looking here.
How to use
1. Create an account
Create an account and register as a user.
2. Create a project
3. Export article data (XML) from the note settings screen
4. Upload XML → Articles are displayed as a list of episodes
Return to 4-koma no+e, upload the XML, and select your episodes.
5. Set your characters.
You can add a full-body image of the character, and I will create a 4-panel image based on this illustration.
6. Set Gemini API Key
You can obtain an API key from Google AI Studio. Unfortunately, at this time, image generation is not available in the free tier. It is a pay-as-you-go system where you pay only for what you use, rather than a fixed monthly fee. For personal use, it is quite affordable, costing only a few to several dozen yen per episode.
7. Create reference 4-panel image
Create a sample, and if you get a 4-panel manga that looks good, save it as a reference image. Copying and pasting an article is also fine. It is a bit more difficult, but you can also create multiple characters and set them individually.
8. Scenario generation
Select the episode you want to turn into a 4-panel manga and generate a scenario. I will summarize the article to create a scenario for the 4-panel manga.
9. Create 4-panel manga
Once you create a scenario, you will be able to generate images. If you create too many at once, you won't be able to redo them, so please start by testing with a small number of panels to see what kind of images are produced as you proceed.
You can check the 4-panel manga you created. You can edit the scenario and recreate it. You can also download it once and upload a corrected version. Please try to create a 4-panel manga you are satisfied with.

10. Create EPUB
Set the cover. The recommended size is 1,000x1600px.
Chapters are created for each month of the 4-panel manga you have produced. You can change chapter titles and set cover images. The recommended size is 1,000px x 1,600px. 5:8 is the recommended size for Kindle.
You can also write an afterword. You can set an image for it as well.
Once you are ready, it is finally time to create the EPUB. You can see a preview on the right. When it is finished, download it and check it out. A table of contents is also created automatically.

I created "4koma no+e" to compile note articles into 4-panel manga e-books. Whether it is daily essays, travel logs, or stories about your fandom—what you have written on note is already material for a book.
