Never Stop Moving Forward
The word "ayumi" (steps/progress) carries a wide range of meanings.
It refers not only to the act of walking in daily life, such as taking a stroll or hiking in the mountains, but also has more metaphorical meanings.

For example, it can refer to the growth process of a child becoming an adult, the acquisition of a career or skills as an adult, or the accumulation of life experience as one ages.
Furthermore, it is not just humans; the development processes of companies, nations, and cultural history are also described as "ayumi."
Learning, which appeared in the previous article "What to say when your child asks, 'Why do I have to study?'," is one such example.
It is not just about classes at school; everything around us is material for learning, and being conscious of that is what "ayumi" is.
To "never stop moving forward" means to always keep growing.
Please also take a look at "On the proverb 'Persistence is power'" regarding continuing.
Beyond the heart that wishes to grow, there should be a grown version of yourself.
You move forward toward that grown version of yourself.
In order to never stop moving forward, you must always be conscious of this goal you should aim for—the grown version of yourself, your "dream."

If you do that, I believe you can keep moving forward without ever stopping.
There is no need to walk fast.
Little by little, slowly and steadily, you just need to keep looking forward without looking back.
Isn't it okay to rest a little sometimes?
As long as you keep looking forward, you can start walking toward your dream again.
Visualize the person you want to become, don't push yourself too hard, and keep moving forward without stopping.
