Isn't it exhausting to write prompts from scratch every time? | Generative AI | Prompt | Production Log | #320

KITAcore Tools — Vol.01 / Character Prompt Builder Lite

I'll be honest.

Thinking of prompts is exhausting, but
having to organize and write them from scratch every time is the most tedious part.

"I don't know how to write it"
"I get stuck in the same place every time"
"I just want to change a little bit, but I end up rewriting the whole thing"

You've been there, right?

That's why this time, I
created a standalone Lite version HTML tool that outputs a ready-to-use prompt once you fill in the necessary fields.
I made it.

Open it in your browser, choose a template, make a few adjustments, and copy it to use.

That's really all there is to it.

This is what the screen looks like.

Just open it in your browser.
No installation or account required.
It also supports local saving, so you can use it in a way where your previous inputs remain as they are.

What kind of tool is this?

This tool is for organizing things in the order of
"What do you want to create?" → "How do you want it to look?" → "What do you want to avoid?"
and compiling them into a finished prompt.

And since it's a Lite version, it's not about designing everything in detail from the start, but rather
focusing on "getting it into a usable form first."

The input fields are also quite limited.

In short,

rather than for people who want to master prompts, it's
for people who find prompts exhausting every time. That's what it is.

Included items

Currently, these are the two items you can download.

🛠️ character_prompt_builder_lite.html
The main tool. Open it in your browser and use it as is. No installation required.

📖 character_prompt_builder_lite_manual.html
Instruction manual HTML. It summarizes the meaning of input fields, button explanations, and even common pitfalls.

4 steps to use

It shouldn't be complicated. Surely.
Honestly, unlike my body weight, it's quite light.

STEP 01 ── Open the HTML file in your browser

Just unzip the file and open the main HTML.
The manual also assumes that it runs as a standalone HTML / requires no installation.

STEP 02 ── Choose a template

You shouldn't have to suffer with a blank page from the start.
This Lite version is designed with the assumption that you will start from a template.
I've included three templates in the main file: "Urban Cool," "Standing Figure Base," and "Anime-style."

When you select a template, the foundation is filled in all at once. You don't have to think from scratch.

STEP 03 ── Change only the necessary fields

You don't have to fill in everything.
As stated in the manual, it works with just 3 to 5 important items.
Even just changing the "hair," "eyes," and "outfit" is enough to get good results.

STEP 04 ── Copy and paste into the AI

Look at the completed text on the right, and if it looks good, just copy it.
The main file includes Copy / Input Sample / Clear buttons, and the manual also guides you through that flow.

Chip feature: Add frequently used words with a single tap

This is subtle, but I think it's convenient.

If you select an input field and press a chip, you can add words like "cinematic" or "soft rim light."
Furthermore, it's designed so that if the same word is already entered, it won't be duplicated.

Adding little things is easy. Things like this reduce the subtle exhaustion.

Right column: The completed prompt appears in real-time

I made it so that as you input, the completed text appears on the right.
The manual also describes the flow of "Check the completed text on the right → Copy and use it".

Moreover, the Lite version prioritizes
"getting the completed text first" over "filling everything in perfectly." I think this is a great point.

The dark panel on the right is the place to check the completed text.

This will resonate with people like this

🎨 For those who use generative AI for images but get stuck on prompts every time
For those who don't know what to write or in what order.

🤖 For those who want to send character designs to ChatGPT but get vague responses every time
I think this is suitable when you want to create a foundation for instructions first.

📦 For those who want to cycle through the same character with slight variations
It should be easy to use by fixing the worldview and only changing hair, expressions, and outfits.

🔒 For those who want to keep everything local
It should be lightweight to handle since it stays local.

⚠️ To be honest, it's not for everyone
For those who want to export in YAML or JSON, or
want to manage detailed structures,
the advanced version (planned for membership) is better than the Lite version.
This is strictly a version for creating something usable first.

Download and how to start using it

As I wrote in the manual,
it is recommended to place the Lite main HTML and the manual HTML in the same folder.

▼File roles: character_prompt_builder_lite.html main tool

▼character_prompt_builder_lite_manual.html instruction manual

Shortest setup

  1. Open character_prompt_builder_lite.html in your browser

  2. Press "Load Sample" to see how it works first

  3. Copy the completed text on the right and paste it into the AI you want to use

This flow is summarized in a form very close to the manual.
At first, Load Sample -> Change Theme -> Modify Hair and Eyes is the easiest.

Q. What if it doesn't work?
First, try reopening it in Chrome or Edge.
Also, the manual states that local saving behavior depends on the browser.
There is a possibility that differences in saving behavior may occur depending on the browser.

Finally

Rather than a tool that does something amazing, this is
a tool to make it a little easier when you get exhausted from writing from scratch every time.

"I don't know how to write it"
"I get stuck in the same place every time"
"But the high-function version is too heavy right away"

For those people, it's probably just right.

First, choose a template,
change only the hair and eyes,
and try copying the completed text on the right.

At that point, you'll probably think,
"Not having to write from scratch is a huge relief."
and that should be it.

Huh? You want a full-blown prototype?
That's for another time.

Thanks for reading until the end.
Likes and follows are genuinely encouraging.

See you later.

I thought it might be more convenient if the afterword could only be viewed on the webpage.
I don't know if there's any demand for that, though...
