[Tip-Sending Diet] ~Today's Article~ "To Say or Not to Say? How to Organize Your Thoughts When You're Undecided" ~Questions to Help You Find a Happy Choice~
[Tip-Sending Diet]
Today, I sent tips to those who always add my posts to their magazines, and to two people who wrote relatable articles on the theme of "favorite books," with gratitude and joy.
Thank you so much✨️
Now, today, for those who are struggling with "whether to say it or not," I would like to share a tip on how to view that choice.
■ First, set the "Who to whom?"
For example—
imagine a situation where a wife is debating whether or not to tell her husband something she has been thinking about.
At this moment, the wife has both the "desire to say it" and the "desire to keep it to herself" existing at the same time, creating conflict.
■ What do you want to gain by "saying it"?
Ask yourself this question here.
Why do you want to say it?
What kind of outcome do you hope for after saying it?
For example,
Being able to share childcare and housework
Clearing up the frustration and feeling refreshed
You might imagine such a state.
■ What do you want to protect by "not saying it"?
Ask yourself this question here as well.
Why do you think it is better not to say it?
What would you be happy to see as a result of not saying it?
For example,
Avoiding marital arguments
Being able to respect the other person
Keeping the atmosphere at home peaceful
There may be things like that.
The important thing here is that
both "saying it" and "not saying it" hide your own "true wishes." that is what it means.
■ What lies "even deeper" than those wishes?
Next, we will bring out what lies beyond the true wishes we identified earlier.
For example...
"Saying it" → I want to share childcare and housework
"Not saying it" → I want to avoid marital arguments
Let's assume these were your true wishes.
What is the common purpose that lies "beyond" these two wishes?
For example—
"I want to build a happy home"
Let's go with that.
Isn't this something that everyone truly wishes for as long as they are a married couple?
The point (or trick) to consider here is
to imagine things far, far into the future.
A long-term perspective.
It is to make those kinds of things your common wish.
■ "Reading in reverse" to notice your assumptions
Once you have outputted this much, now try reading it in reverse out loud.
To build a happy home → It is necessary to be able to share childcare and housework
To be able to share childcare and housework → It is necessary to say what you want to say
To build a happy home → It is necessary that there are no marital arguments.
To have no marital arguments → It is necessary not to say what you want to say
Please try reading it like this: "In order to do X, Y is necessary."
■ Questions can be the catalyst that changes your life
Regarding the content you just read,
"Is that really true?"
Just by holding this question,
・actually, I was just assuming that on my own
・I was assuming the other person was that kind of person
・I was thinking that if I said this, the other person would definitely say that
etc., you will notice that your perspective broadens and your options for subsequent actions increase.
By taking this further, you can even discover solutions you never thought of before.
This technique might be a little hard to understand in writing, but it can be organized using diagrams.
This is a method like illustrating the "fuzziness in your head," and it serves as a tool to help you realize your own assumptions and wishes.
■ In Conclusion
Once you get used to these kinds of questions, you will be able to gently ask yourself, "Is that really true?" in various everyday situations.
As a result, that becomes a great power for making choices that are true to yourself and moving toward the future you desire.
Since I learned this method and received my certification, I have been able to
deepen my self-reflection, and my actions and behavior have actually changed, and various things have started to take a turn for the better.
I hope this reaches you, even just a little, as you grapple with various dilemmas.
I would like to share the rest (specific methods, introductions to diagrams, and how to use them) at another time.
Or, for those who have the opportunity to talk to me directly, such as through membership, I would be happy to share it with you in person.
Thank you for always reading.
I sincerely pray that today will be a good day for you

If today's story resonated with you even a little,
please take a moment to reflect on it in light of your own "to say or not to say" dilemma ☺️
