I feel like more people in the world have a 'desire to be controlled'
Regarding this part of this article.
Becoming a 'machine' should inherently be 'suffering' for a living organism.
(Since organisms are not 'machines,' this is only natural.)
(However,)
—surprisingly, human 'adaptability' is tremendous.
It seems that one day, you might even start to feel that 'that way is more automatic and easier.'
'Everything you need to do is already filled in and decided, what you need to think about is pre-programmed, there is no margin, you cannot move freely, you just follow the plan, ...'
= 'Easy'
It is a feeling like that.
—I think society itself is currently leaning toward the idea of 'making everything automatic' and 'making even humans automated.'
From here,
I will develop this a bit further
and add to it.
I feel like there are more people lately
who find it 'easy'—or even 'happy'—
to have 'everything told to them from above.'
Even when gathering people into a group,
'easy to organize'
and 'easy to handle'
might look like a 'good thing' at first glance, but?
—Yes,
if there were only 'good people' in this world,
it could be a peaceful, calm, and 'wonderful world,' but...

'It is better not to know what people are thinking in their heads.'
There is certainly some truth to that.
However.
If you are 'ignorant of what is in others' heads and hearts'
for everything,
because it is invisible,
while it remains invisible,
for example,
even if 'your own thoughts' are being eroded,
you might not even notice it.

Things like 'imagining people's true feelings' or
'understanding people's true emotions'—
those kinds of powers are not just for the sake of
'compassion,' 'kindness,' or 'consideration.'
I think they are also necessary powers
to prevent yourself from being (unintentionally)
dominated or controlled by someone.

Since I have absolutely no
'desire to dominate'
others within myself,
I cannot easily imagine
the 'desire to be dominated' (the desire to 'be controlled')
as a sensation.
But, I will try to imagine it.
—For example, someone who has had their thoughts
bound by someone else since childhood
and has gone along with it without resisting,
might just feel uneasy
if they were to become free now.
For example,
by being 'dominated,'
perhaps they 'feel like' they can
escape from that 'anxiety'?
But still.
At the very least,
I want to let my own 'thoughts'
be free,
unbound by anything,
for myself.
(Even if it comes at the cost of)
some 'anxiety'.

To "trust someone" also
has a scary side to it.
You don't have to "trust them completely,"
no, rather,
being able to mutually allow "room for doubt"
(because by "doubting," you can also
perform "verification" with each other,)
I feel like you can build
a "genuine" relationship of trust.
—Well,
for "individuals who are already intimate,"
you might not need to think
that far at this point.
(It's a case-by-case basis, after all,
that kind of thing, obviously.)
However,
if it's "toward society,"
"toward politics,"
or "toward others (who you aren't that close to),"
then,
without inserting any "process of doubting (verification)"
as a step,
(for some reason, suddenly)
the feeling of placing "full trust"
is something that,
personally, I can't help but feel
is "cutting corners in life."
(And, especially lately,
I have been
starting to think this deeply.)
