With the #Deaflympics starting soon, I'd like to touch on some sign language-related topics✨
Deaflympics
The opening ceremony for the "Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics" will be held this coming Saturday from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM! It looks like it will be broadcast on YouTube on the day, so everyone please take a look!
It seems all other events will also be streamed on the official YouTube channel "TOKYO 2025 DEAFLYMPICS", so even those who can't go to the venue in person should check it out✨✨✨
By the way, it looks like you can watch all the events at the venue for free! And this year also marks the 100th anniversary of the Deaflympics~♪♫ I hope it becomes a wonderful event with the cooperation of many athletes and staff, including volunteers✨

VR Sign Language Events
It's already been 11 months since I started hosting VRC Sign Language Portal Connect under the new structure which changed from "We Are The Best Team" at the beginning of this year! Even though there are still about two months left in 2025, this year has flown by so fast~✨✨✨
Thanks to everyone, I've been able to hold the "VRC Sign Language Chat Gathering" every week, and I hope that for the people who participate, it can be a trigger for them to encounter sign language in this world and learn various things!
There are still many things lacking in terms of the event and my own sign language communication skills, but I hope it can become a place where people can mix and grow together including those aspects. Above all, I feel that being able to form a circle and spend a fun time together is more rewarding than just learning alone✨✨✨
I think that if I can continue to spend fun times with the various people I met by chance in this world, every day will become even more fun~♪♫
I'll do my best to make that happen~~~♪♫ Also, at next month's VketReal, we will realize sign language exchange that transcends reality and virtuality for the first time as the VR sign language (VRC sign language) community!!! I'd be happy if even a few more people could learn about this connection~ ((ﾉ*>∀<)ﾉ♡ˎˊ˗
