When I turned my life into a book with AI, it became a story
― Playing with AI vol.2 | Book Cover Creation Edition ―
🌿 The day I thought I wanted to make it into a book
I used to think that "turning your life into a book" was something only for special people.
However, due to a certain trigger, an event occurred that made me realize that my ordinary daily life was actually an important story.
I had vaguely thought that someday I wanted to leave behind a record of my way of life or my child-rearing as a book or something similar.
That was, to leave for my children.
With natural disasters, pandemics, and the like, I never know what might happen to me.
But if my thoughts as a mother and a record of what I have done take shape, they can read it back as many times as they want when they become adults and feel lost.
🌿 Checking the answers 20 years later
The biggest reason I wanted to leave it behind as a book is my feelings for my children.
Twenty years ago, when my daughter was born.
I started raising her with a certain "firm belief".
The goal I imagined was
"becoming an independent adult".
Here are the three skills I wanted her to acquire for that purpose.
・ "Communication skills"
・ "Problem-solving skills"
・ "The ability to say NO"
I experienced working in new graduate recruitment, saw many students, and felt it after following new employees after they joined the company.
I felt that the "essential skills for entering society" in my opinion were these three.
Academic ability is also important. But more than that,
I thought that the skills nurtured through interactions with people would surely support life.
🌿 A record of my wavering
At first glance, I was often thought to be reliable.
Perhaps it was because I was a person who spoke clearly.
Because I was thought to be a strong person, I couldn't show my weakness to anyone.
Even if I did show it, I think I tried not to look at the parts I didn't want to acknowledge.
But as I've gotten older, I've come to realize that the flawed me and the wavering me are also part of who I am.
I think the reason I feel I've been able to accept that it's okay is because I was able to write that side of myself out on note.
And because you, the readers, were so warm toward those words.
That is why I think I have been able to express myself with peace of mind ☺️
🌿 The true self reflected by AI
Do you know a noter named "Oppo"?
I recently learned about them and have been visiting their page.
They generously share AI prompts for free.
"Special Issue: You, Now Launching." [Prompt]
When I found that article, I was so intrigued that I read it.
It was about
"a prompt to have your AI partner create a magazine for you."
So, I decided to try it and entered the prompt into my partner, ChatGPT.
Here is the finished product.

The words the AI produced far exceeded my imagination.
What was written on the book's obi strip was
"A live broadcast of the soul"
That one phrase.
"Oh, I see. I wasn't just recording things. I was broadcasting the live experience of my own soul, living life to the fullest."
Confronted by the AI with feelings I couldn't quite put into words, I unexpectedly felt like I might cry.
But the reason my heart was moved by this cover
might not be because I was impressed by the AI technology,
but because I was able to see myself as a story.
🌿 Searching for light in the darkness
When I was in the darkness.
The days I visited shrines, praying to find a ray of light beyond the torii gate.
The days I visited shrines with a positive feeling, excitedly asking, 'What should I do?'
The catchphrase
"What you felt was already guidance"
This is truly the case.
Even from the slightest trigger, I have tried to find hints there.
I have compiled such shrine visit articles on note.
I started note with the image of writing shrine introduction articles.
But as I kept writing, I realized that the shrines were just one of the tools, and what I really wanted to write about was 'the changes in my heart'.
🌿 The reasons came later
I also had them create a double-page spread.

The fact that I have a notebook and pen ready says a lot about me.
I just thought, 'Let's go.' The reasons followed later.
I think those who visit shrines often will understand this feeling.
Back when I started visiting shrines eight years ago, or when the feeling of being called in a dream became clear.
I asked someone who can see energy.
Their answer was
It's fine to think you were called in a dream.
What's important is whether there was any change after the visit, or what you feltafterward.
Ever since I heard those words, I've started taking more detailed notes and reflecting more deeply on myself after my visits.
🌿 What lay beyond 'that sounds interesting'
I previously learned that I could create a radio-style program from my articles using NotebookLM.
I thought, 'That sounds interesting!' and tried it right away.
The feeling I had then was similar to the feeling that tightened my chest the moment I saw the cover this time.
The feeling of knowing myself through AI that lay beyond 'that sounds interesting.'
It feels like AI is a 'mirror'.
When I unexpectedly heard my own experiences objectively or saw them as a book cover.
The me who is flawed.
The me who was wavering.
The me who is nobody special.
Even so, I felt they were all so precious😌
It's okay to be that way, isn't it?
I've worked hard, haven't I?
It's not true that I have no value.
I think that's why I almost cried, because it made me realize that.
The time spent listening to my own story on the radio was deeper than I expected.
Perhaps by listening to it repeatedly, I am trying to accept myself more and more objectively?
That is how I feel.
🌿 An imperfect story
When I saw the book cover created by AI.
I was impressed by how my life, which doesn't have any particular sense of being special, could look so
authentic when handled by a professional.
Everyone is living their own 'special life' in their own way.
Each has their own drama.
It's not something to be ranked.
I felt like that really hit home.
An imperfect life.
Days that waver.
But if you look at it as a 'story,' every moment becomes a precious page.
I would be happy if my notes could help someone else find their own 'light.'
What page of your own story are you walking on right now?
