Let's turn parenting frustrations into laughter 😆
When you're raising children,
I think it's something everyone experiences, but...
When you say to your child,
"Shouldn't you be doing such and such?"
or,
"Hurry up and get in the bath!!"
and they say...
"I know!"
is what they reply 😇
Then I get all frustrated thinking,
"Then hurry up and do it!!"
but...
One day, my husband jokingly said this to our second son,
who says this every time.
"You're an omniscient and omnipotent god, aren't you...
Since you know everything~"
He said that. Then my second son chuckled and
said,
"I am the omniscient and omnipotent god, Poran!"
(What is Poran! lol)
Since then, even when he says "I know!"
I don't get frustrated anymore,
and it's started to bring laughter 😆
In our house,
we have three "omniscient and omnipotent gods"🤭
They seem like they could protect the family from disaster, right!?
This kind of thing is called
humor coping
in psychology.
I read an article by Sachiko, a psychologist who is a mutual follower,
and when I applied it to my own home,
I thought, "So this is what it is!!"
so I decided to write about it 😊
Turning frustration into laughter is
a really great method, isn't it✨
Even so, when you don't have the mental space,
it's hard to do...
I realized that a little bit of mental space and humor
are important 🍀

Everyone, please be sure to read it too 🧡

I heard that a child's irritability might be due to an iron deficiency...
so we started [iron supplementation] in our home last year✨
I can't keep up with expensive things, so
the whole family eats these.
They are just regular delicious gummies🧡
(The aftertaste is slightly metallic, but the kids are happy to eat them too♪)
