My First Pregnancy 5
Previous story↓
Some time has passed since then, and I am now 10 weeks and 6 days pregnant.
Between 8 and 9 weeks, I had very severe morning sickness; I couldn't go out, couldn't eat, and was vomiting, so it was quite difficult.
So, when I looked up, 'I wonder if there's any medicine for nausea?'...
To my surprise, there was!
It seems whether or not they will prescribe it depends on the hospital's policy, but with the hope that I might be able to get it, I told them during my prenatal checkup how hard the vomiting was, and I was grateful to have it prescribed as needed (crying).
By the way.
It seems that for some people, the effects are hard to notice, but in my case, it worked reasonably well.
Also, the hospital I am currently attending only sees patients up to 16 weeks, so I made preparations early to return to my parents' home and attend the hospital where I plan to give birth.
Since my due date was confirmed as December 26, 2026, I booked a painless delivery at my parents' home, had a referral letter written, and the procedures were completed without any issues.
Now that I can return to my parents' home at any time I like, I feel like I will move according to my husband's and my parents' schedules.
After this, there are things like preparing a labor bag and a hospital bag, but for now, the hospital and government office procedures are finished, so I am quite relieved.
I will be separated from my husband for about half a year...
'Since I am studying Japanese and am busy with work, I might not be able to respond if something happens to my wife, so it is safer for you to be at your parents' home.'
That is how this arrangement came to be.
I am grateful to my husband!
