Profile | Until the light gradually returns to my world that lost its color
Hello. I am Kouka Otoi.
If you are currently carrying feelings you cannot put into words,
or if there is something you want to stop and think about for a while.
In this note, through emotions, words, and perspectives,
I write about how to face myself,
and the realizations and emotional shifts I have found in my daily life.
In this article,
・About myself
・The background of my activities
・Where I share my content
・About writing and consultations
are summarized.
Please feel free to read from the sections that interest you.
I am currently helping others reclaim their "true selves" through "meditation," "words," and "gentle realizations."
I, too, have finally begun to be able to find the light that is "myself."
However, there was a time when I felt like I was walking through darkness, groping my way to get there.
I feel like I have lived my whole life bound by the eyes of others and society's expectations of "how things should be." I was sensitive to others' moods, anticipating their feelings, and getting hurt in the process.
Even so, I came to hate being "sensitive" itself, closed off my heart, pretended to have no interest in anything, and eventually, I even lost sight of what I "liked" or what I "wanted to do."
When I had lost "myself"
Where did "I" go?
There was a period when I was quietly breathing inside a shell of indifference like that.
Even though I tried to stay in a safe place by keeping my distance from others and avoiding emotional fluctuations, my heart gradually lost its color. It was like living my days walking through a monochrome world.
When that had become "normal," I encountered NLP, hypnotherapy (I do not currently offer these sessions), and meditation.
What meditation and words taught me
Through that learning, I learned for the first time that I did not have to deny the "emotions" within me.
I learned that I didn't have to be afraid, I didn't have to suppress them, and that those very emotions could actually become the power that sustains me.
Little by little, truly little by little, color began to return to the monochrome world.
The scent of the wind, the morning light, the warmth of my palms.
The sensations of "likes" and "desires" that I had forgotten began to emerge from the depths of my heart.
"Life is not just about waiting for time to pass."
"The depth of life's color depends on how much your heart has been moved."
I was able to start thinking that way not because I forced myself to be positive, but because I made the choice to accept everything about myself.
What I am sharing now
Even now, I still find myself swayed by waves of emotion. I still feel anxious, lost, and hurt.
But every time that happens, I have found a "place to return to." I believe that for me now, that is meditation, words, and the realizations that shift my perspective just a little.
In this space, I write about those personal experiences and realizations with a gentle gaze.
And I hope that for those who, like me, have "lost sight of themselves" or "struggled with having a sensitive heart," this can become a small light to help them regain their color once again.
Membership: "Atelier of the Gaze"
The "gaze" and "quiet time" that I have shared until now through note, social media, and my official LINE account.
I created this membership for those who want to sink into that world a little more deeply and within themselves.
This is not a place to provide "answers," but a small atelier to cultivate "white space" where you can step away from the noise of daily life and return to yourself.
A place where you can leave your unsettled emotions and unspoken discomforts just as they are.
A space where you can gradually adjust your own "gaze" while untangling your perspectives.
A place where, as each person's perspective overlaps, the world begins to look a little kinder.
If your heart is moved even a little right now, please try to cherish that feeling just as it is.
You can find detailed information about the atelier and how to join on the page below.
The door to remembering the self you had almost forgotten is always open.
I would be happy if, here, we could slowly cultivate our own gaze and gradually expand a world where we can feel that "this is okay."
Help with putting your thoughts into words
Whether it is personal worries, hesitation in sharing, or obstacles that arise in work that involves conveying something to someone.
For those who want to organize these into words.

📖 "Seeing Your Own Core Through 'Doing Nothing'—Being Fulfilled Just As You Are"
“You don’t have to become someone else.”
“You don’t have to change; you are fine just as you are.”
I have written down the time during which such words gradually soak into the heart.
When you are tired of trying so hard, you might want to stop for a moment and read this—
It is that kind of book.

Conclusion
In the time that feels like it has been forgotten, I gradually remember "myself" while touching upon sudden words and quiet moments.
I hope the words I write here can also gently stay by your side somewhere as one of those moments.
I hope we can connect again somewhere through follows, likes, or messages.
Along the way.
Somewhere again.
