A Secret Introduction to Our Members

The captain of the observer team who loves to observe the world from near Koharu.
He is also great friends with Vice-Captain Haru.

Even though he gets incredibly scared at the vet, he is a smart boy who never uses his claws on Koharu's bare skin.
……However.

When he jumps onto her lap, he often miscalculates and slides off.

He doesn't use his claws then either.

He falls off with a "Huh??" expression on his face, and his landings are usually failures.

It's a sloppy jump, made with the assumption that Koharu will catch his bottom.

He is excellent at catching toys.
He shows off his signature consecutive big jumps.

……But, as expected, he tends to fail the landing.

By the way, after returning from the vet, he takes his frustration out on Vice-Captain Haru.

That is the kind of creature a captain is.

Usually laid-back.
A vice-captain who observes the world from a little distance away.

When Kotora isn't around, he is a relaxed fellow who exposes his belly and occupies Koharu's lap.
However—

Do not underestimate him.
Once his excitement peaks, he shows off his light-footed "Are you looking for a fight?" dance.

And his next target is...
Koharu, it's you.

Koharu runs away in a panic.

Vice-Captain Haru gives chase.

The inside of the observatory becomes just a little chaotic.
By the way, when I have AI generate him, he usually ends up being just a "generic tuxedo cat."

(No, that's not it.)

A special observer who has no use of her lower body and always runs around wearing a diaper.
She manages her mostly immobile hind legs well, sometimes trying a little hop.

As if to say, "If my legs don't work, I'll use my arms!" she runs down stairs using only her front legs.
(Her shoulders are quite muscular.)

She climbs cat towers she shouldn't be able to, then gets stuck and can't get down, looking smug.
When she finds something she wants to do, she is a tomboy cat who charges ahead without thinking of the consequences.
The other observers are always watching over her with bated breath.

She herself is completely unfazed.
She is a child who makes me admire how she doesn't seem to think of it as a handicap for a cat.

By the way, because she cannot excrete properly on her own and often needs to be rushed to the animal hospital, she cannot live with me, as I live alone.
If I were to just watch and wait casually, it could be a matter of life and death.

Instead, my father, who is not liked by cats, was overjoyed that she took to him, and he dotes on her at his home as "my kitty."

The cat observers at Koharu Observatory were all rescued by the manager, Koharu.
And actually—

The name Koharu comes from the first characters of these three cats:

Kotora

Haru
Ruka
They are all full of personality, and I never get tired of watching them.

"Koharu, why are you making such a difficult face? Do you want to eat?"

"The bathroom? I'll go with you!"
"This warm sofa (Koharu) is the best fit... zzz..."

I don't know what they are saying, though.

A world where cats and humans coexist.

It is somewhat mysterious, isn't it?

Because the "supposedly smart" humans are constantly trying to keep the cats in a good mood.

I'm glad I was born as a human who can feel that!
