I'm not having AI write for me, I'm having it pick up my words
"Are you using AI to write your articles?"
I get asked that sometimes.
I do use AI.
But I don't feel like I'm "having AI write my articles."

First and foremost, there are my words.
But...
I tend to ramble on and on (lol).
"I want to convey this too."
"I want to say this as well."
"Oh, and that story too."
As I talk like that, the conversation jumps all over the place, and in the end, I often find myself thinking,
"...so, what was I trying to say in the end?"
And on top of that, I use a lot of emojis 😂
When I sent a LINE message to my son before, he casually pointed out,
"You know, that's what they call 'middle-aged lady style' (ojisan/obasan koubun)." (lol).

Since then, I've been trying hard to reduce the number of emojis I use 🤣
……But, do you know what happened as a result?
My son's reply was just,
"Yeah."
And as for my husband, he just read it and didn't reply at all (lol).

That's why I've been thinking lately.
For me, emojis aren't just decorations.
They supplement the atmosphere, the warmth, and the expressions that can't be conveyed through text alone.
So, when they're gone, I feel a little lonely.

What I ask of AI isn't "write an article for me."
"Pick up my words."
That's all.
It organizes what I've said and asks me,
"So, is this what you mean?"
Sometimes I read that text and think,
"Exactly!"
And other times I think,
"No, that doesn't sound like me," and I edit it.

So the article I finally publish
is not an article written by AI,
but an article that I and the AI edited together.
To me, Logi-kun is not a ghostwriter.
Beside me, as I ramble on,
he picks up my scattered words one by one,
and acts as an editor who finds my "true feelings" and the "message I want to convey."

That's why I don't think I'm having AI write my articles.
I'm having it help me organize the words inside me.
That's the feeling.
I'm the one writing.
But sometimes I encounter words I couldn't have found on my own.
That's why I talk to Logi-kun again today.
"Hey, listen to this."
That's where my article begins.

Verbalizing structures and connecting the field with the system
Currently on medical leave, I share my daily thoughts while participating in local activities and volunteering within reasonable limits.
I am gradually putting into words the discomfort I feel in the field and the things that exist between the systems.
