Commotion in the Rain: The Road to Being Okay - Part 2
The story of my eldest son losing his communication notebook is
here ⬇️
The aftermath of the notebook commotion
As expected, my son couldn't sleep easily, and he walked around the room crying in anxiety.
The next morning, while rubbing his dark-circled eyes, my son insisted,
I'm going to the service.
I decided that taking the train was impossible, so I chose to drive him there.
When we arrived,
the service staff had prepared a new communication notebook for him.
To my son, it was different from his 'usual notebook'.
Seeing my son looking at the notebook anxiously, a staff member took him out shopping to look for the original one.
Thanks to that, my son seemed to accept it and found a way to come to terms with his feelings.
Then, four days later, today,
the communication notebook was found‼️
While I was preparing breakfast, I received a LINE message from someone who uses the same station.
“There is a communication notebook left on the station bench.”
When I told my son, he was very happy.
He had been worried about losing it.
When we headed to the station,
the communication notebook was sitting there neatly.
The neck strap holder that he had lost along with it was also there as a set.
Surely, someone must have gathered the things my son forgot on the train and
gently placed them on the station bench.
I was so happy about that gesture.
The service staff who looked for the notebook,
the person who contacted me via LINE,
and the kindness of whoever returned it,
everything is so heartwarming.
—What a heartwarming relay of feelings this is.
Together with my son, I wrote a postcard to the stranger.
Adding words of gratitude, saying, “Thank you very much.”

I hope it reaches the person who picked it up.
