The "note Online Chat Meeting" has concluded successfully!

On Sunday, October 9th, from 14:00 to 15:30, we held a social gathering on Zoom called the "note Online Chat Meeting."

This time, the theme was "Turning Points," and we had the participants take turns sharing their stories.
Since questions and comments were welcome, a wide variety of questions were exchanged.

Including myself, five participants gathered.

Perhaps it is thanks to the note platform, but the five of us came from completely different environments in terms of age, gender, and where we live.

As others have also written, it was a session where we found many commonalities despite our differences.

A turning point is, after all, the starting point of "change."

In every participant, I felt a strength—either to "create change oneself" or to "take a positive view of the changes that occurred." And that leads to a sense of fulfillment.

It is a short summary, but it was an hour and a half where I discovered something important.

I was so immersed in the lingering feeling that I couldn't think of how to put together a reflection post, and writing it was delayed. In fact, I am still reflecting on the content I heard at the chat meeting.

Now, let me introduce the people who participated this time.

Yasuhiro Kasai
Kasai-san has participated in the chat meetings several times before. I am always helped by his facilitation of the meetings. Thank you! In the talk, I was able to hear a gutsy story that was very characteristic of Kasai-san. I tend to get down when I fail, so I find it amazing that Kasai-san gains energy when he fails.

Maemaki-san
The way she smiled and said, "I'm fulfilled right now!" was very impressive. Also, since I am an intuitive person, I could relate so much to the feeling she mentioned during the talk of suddenly thinking, "I want to do this now" (in Japanese, haha). It made me excited to think that if you jump into what you want to do now, unexpected changes might happen!

Kumashina-san
Kumashina-san has both passion and composure, valuing priorities while still doing what they want to do. Actually, we had many commonalities in our professions, and I deeply empathized with their turning point. Doing what you want to do—it's a short phrase, but I truly felt how important it is.

wakei20-san
They participated from Canada. wakei-san is very energetic! At the same time, I thought they were a very flexible person. They have even published an English version on Kindle, and I am inspired by their willingness to take on challenges. I was happy to hear stories that can only be heard at the chat meeting. I received energy from wakei-san, who has a wonderful, lively smile!

The talk theme this time was deep, so I was able to listen carefully to various episodes and learn from them. Thank you to all the participants!

As I wrote on the recruitment page, I would like to conclude the "note Online Chat Meeting" with this session.

To everyone who has participated so far, thank you for talking with me!

By talking with all of you, my perspective and my world have expanded greatly!

Opportunities to talk with various people are precious to me as well, so I hope to bring this back after my year of wandering abroad.

Apart from that, if there is anyone who would like to talk with me, please feel free to reach out. Let's chat on Zoom!

Thank you for reading this far.
See you in the next article!
