October 13th-18th is Erasmus Days
This might be sudden, but there is something called Erasmus Days! Haha
The #ErasmusDays are an international six-day celebration of the Erasmus+ programme. During these days, people throughout the world are invited to come together and either organise or participate at events that celebrate the projects and opportunities proposed by Erasmus+. For students, teachers, trainers, professionals and more generally, all citizens, the #ErasmusDays represent a unique moment to promote the multitude of benefits that result from the programme.
In Europe, 'Erasmus' could be said to have replaced the word 'exchange' for study abroad.Another noteI have introduced it in other posts as well, but Erasmus Days is a special six-day week that celebrates everything related to 'Erasmus+', an education program led by the EU that includes study abroad support, as well as all the systems and opportunities created by it.
The number of students sharing their experiences on platforms like note is increasing. Since Erasmus is a system that can be used by regular students at many European universities, including those in EU member states, regardless of nationality, I think the number of Japanese students who have studied abroad in other countries through Erasmus, or people like me who have earned a master's degree through an Erasmus master's program, is gradually increasing.
This year, EMA Japan, the Japanese branch of the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA) in which current students and alumni of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJM) participate, will hold an online event on Friday the 17th to introduce EMJM!
