Overflowing Stories | "Thank you for watching over me." What those words taught me
"To be useful to someone, I have to do something for them."
……Is that really true?
Hello.
Gently untying the knots in your heart,
I am Yukiyo-chan, helping you return to your true self🌿
Today,
I would like to talk about an event
where I myself was taught something important.
A mother who walked with me for half a year
For about half a year,
there is a mother who has been facing her heart with me.
Days of joy.
Days when tears wouldn't stop.
"I don't understand anymore."
There were also days when she would come to a standstill.
I,
did not teach her the answers.
I did not lead her to the correct answer either.
I simply,
was just there.
By their side,
thinking together,
feeling together,
and walking together.
What I delivered along with the wild herb tea
The other day,
that person
ordered wild herb tea from my online shop.
I was so happy,
and along with the tea,
I sent a small letter.
A few days later,
a message arrived.
"I read your letter and teared up."
"Once again, thank you for watching over me."
The moment I read those words,
my heart was full.
I thought I was just delivering tea,
but I,
wanted to deliver the scent of nature.
I want to deliver a moment where you can take a deep breath.
With that thought in mind,
I make wild herb tea.
But,
when I read that message,
there was something I realized.
Perhaps what I was delivering,
was not just tea.
The six months,
we walked together.
"It's okay."
The time I kept believing that.
Perhaps you were receiving,
that time along with it.
"I want you to listen to my child's story too."
That person,
also told me this.
"Next time, I want you to listen to my child's story too."
Hearing those words,
I thought.
People,
may seem to be looking for the right answer,
but what they are truly seeking,
might be a place where they can speak with peace of mind.
Because there is a place where one can feel at ease,
one can realize their true feelings.
Because there is a place where one can feel at ease,
one can look forward once again.
That is what I felt.
Like the time spent brewing tea,
that person,
also sent me a photo of wild herb tea brewed in a clear pot.
"Is this amount about right?"
Along with a message like that.
Visible beyond the steam,
a gentle green.
A favorite cup.
While enjoying the aroma,
time flowing slowly.
Just by looking at that photo,
Even my heart,
felt warm and relieved.
Life,
I think, is surely the same.
You don't have to rush to find an answer.
Slowly,
like savoring a scent,
it's okay to have time to feel who you are right now.
"I have to do something for them."
……Is that really true?
The old me,
thought that to be useful to someone,
I had to teach them something.
I had to solve something.
That is what I believed.
But now,
it's a little different.
Watching over them by their side.
Believing in their strength.
"It's okay."
And being a place where they can feel at ease.
That, too,
is an important way of supporting someone, I believe.
Today's small exercise
If right now,
you are thinking of supporting someone dear to you,
just once,
try asking yourself.
"Am I trying to provide an answer?"
Or,
"Am I trying to become a place where they can feel at ease?"
Perhaps,
what that person truly needs,
is not an answer,
but peace of mind.
Conclusion
"Thank you for watching over me."
Those words,
for me,
became an unforgettable gift.
I am
not someone who provides the answers.
I want to be a companion
who finds the answers within you together.
That feeling
will not change from here on out.
If,
this place
can be a place
where someone can take a deep, relieved breath,
there is nothing that would make me happier.
Today, too,
I deliver just one question to you.
"Is that really so?"
Perhaps,
the best way to support someone
is not to do something for them,
but to believe in their strength,
and perhaps it is to quietly watch over them.🌿
🌿 For those who want to cherish time to reconcile with themselves
What I value most is
not telling you the answer,
but meeting the answer
that is already within you, together.
In the free publication
,
I offer time for you to gently face yourself.
Also,
"It's hard to sort things out on my own."
When you feel that way,
while staying close to your pace,
will help untie the knots in your heart.
There is no need to rush.
The answer
is not outside,
but within you.
Today, let's once again
"Is that really so?"
while asking that question,
let's remember our true selves🌿
