Even with a voluntary resignation, I did not have to wait for one month.
My resignation was voluntary.
So naturally, I thought there would be a
7-day waiting period plus a 1-month benefit restriction.
However, it was actually different.
After the 7-day waiting period ended,
there was no benefit restriction applied.
There is one reason for this.
It is because I did not leave the circumstances of my resignation as they were.
I was undergoing treatment that involved surgery.
I was also hospitalized.
In terms of company procedures, it was a "voluntary resignation."
That part did not change.
However, when I was asked about the reason for my resignation at Hello Work,
I told them honestly about my illness.
Then,
"If you have a doctor's certificate, there is a possibility that the benefit restriction will not be applied."
I was told.
I received the form specified by Hello Work and went to the hospital.
I explained the situation,
and had the circumstances leading to my resignation certified.
The document fee was 2,200 yen.
After submission, there was no benefit restriction.
Even with a voluntary resignation,
・Illness
・Nursing care
・Unavoidable circumstances
If you have these,
you may be treated as a "person who left for specific reasons."
If I hadn't known,
I think I would have just waited for that one month.
Not every case will be the same.
However,
You don't always have to assume that 'it can't be helped because it was a voluntary resignation'.
I am glad I asked at that time.
Here is the story from the time I was thinking about money after resigning.
→ For a month and a half after resigning, I was calculating
I have written about the process of getting into home-based vocational training here.
→ Home-based vocational training isn't something you can just get into if you want to. What I did to get accepted
