Creative Awards 2025 Announced! Early Entry Now Open for the Entertainment Original Work Category

The Creative Awards 2025 (4th edition) have been officially announced!
Submissions are scheduled to open in late April 2025.Details such as participating media and submission guidelines will be announced when submissions open. Stay tuned!
The awards will feature 12 categories. Additionally, novels and entertainment original works can be submitted from both note and Tales.
As in previous years, we plan to accept submissions across 12 categories. There are some changes to category names and scope.
Also, this year's Creative Awards will be held in partnership with the new "story posting site Tales." Novels and entertainment original works can also be submitted via Tales. Please participate using whichever platform is easier for you to post on.
Furthermore, the Entertainment Original Work category will accept early entries exclusively for submissions made via Tales from March 10 to April 21, 2025. For details, please check the latter half of this article and the article regarding early entry.
*Tales has released a beta version of its writing features starting March 10.
<Changes from Creative Awards 2024>
・"Recipe Category" changed to "Food Category": Accepting a wide range of submissions, not just recipes but also food essays, etc.
・"Manga Original Work Category" changed to "Entertainment Original Work Category": Accepting a wide range of submissions, including not just manga but also original works for video adaptations.
・Novels and entertainment original works can now be submitted from both note and Tales.
"Entertainment Original Work Category" is now accepting early entries exclusively on Tales starting today!
In conjunction with the release of the beta version of Tales' writing features, we are opening early entries for the "Entertainment Original Work Category" of the Creative Awards.
If you submit an early entry for the Entertainment Original Work category on Tales between March 10 and April 21, participating media will review your work in advance. If there is a work they would like to discuss for media adaptation, the media will reach out to you without waiting for the final results of the Creative Awards.

Since the Entertainment Original Work category is one where media adaptation takes time, we have specially set up an early entry period so that we can match creators and media as quickly as possible. However, even if you are not contacted during the early period, there is still a possibility that you will be selected in the main Creative Awards 2025 selection process. This is a system that increases your chances of having your work noticed. We look forward to your submissions.
