When you hear the words "exciting moment," what kind of scene comes to mind?
Perhaps it's when you encounter something new or make a discovery while traveling, or when you are completely absorbed in a hobby. Or maybe it's the time spent imagining the future as something is about to begin, or when your heart skips a beat during a casual, everyday moment. From things you feel in a sudden instant to the moment when something you've spent a long time preparing finally bears fruit, there must be many "exciting moments" in every aspect of life and in the process of reaching those points.
We are looking for stories about those moments that made your heart race in a collaboration contest betweenJR Kyushuand note called#ExcitingMoments. Whether it's something you're excited about right now or an episode from the past that really moved you, we welcome all entries. Please share your experience with us.
Contest Overview
■ Theme and Format
We are waiting for your note posts on the theme of "#ExcitingMoments." Please feel free to write in any format, such as manga, essays, illustrations, or novels. There are no restrictions on the format.
■ Schedule
Submission period: January 26, 2026 (Mon) 11:00 AM to February 25, 2026 (Wed) 11:59 PM
Results announcement: Scheduled for April 2026
■ Prizes
・Grand Prize: 1 winner (100,000 yen in gift cards)
・JR Kyushu Prize: 2 winners (50,000 yen in gift cards each) *
* The JR Kyushu Prize will be selected from episodes related to exciting moments in Kyushu. Please make sure to mention in the body of your article that the event took place in "Kyushu."
* The Grand Prize is also open to episodes about exciting moments outside of Kyushu.
How to Apply
(1) Create a note account or log in.
(2) Follow the official JR Kyushu note account.
(3) Post an article with the hashtag "#ExcitingMoments".

・You can also submit previously posted articles by adding the contest hashtag to them.
・You may submit multiple entries.

Submitted content may be featured on JR Kyushu's official note, website, or social media accounts.
It may also be featured on note's social media accounts.
