[2022/09/08] A tough world for newcomers!?

It's my 5th day listing on Coconala.

I got one result from my writing listing. The price per character at this time was 1 yen. I was immediately promoted to Regular.

Unlike Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, the rank change doesn't happen at the beginning of the month.

[2022/09/12] Running ads

Popular sellers get many requests. I decided to run ads to get noticed.
I also considered lowering the price per character to about 0.5 yen, but I put that on hold.

1,500 yen for 3,000 characters. After fees, it's about 1,200 yen. In my case, it takes about 3 hours for research, article structure, and writing.

Converted to an hourly wage, that's 400 yen. That's way too low.

[2022/09/15] No increase in requests even with ads?

I spent 1,000 yen on ads at 50 yen per click, but the budget was exhausted over the course of a day with zero conversions.

Since that was out of the question, I decided to lower the price per character.

[2022/09/29] Received a low rating despite delivering within the deadline

Thanks to the low price and ads, I started getting a few conversions.

I received a low rating for a delivery made within the deadline.

If the content had been poor, I could reflect on it as my own responsibility, but I didn't understand getting a low rating for the schedule when I delivered within the deadline.

I thought about making consultations and estimates mandatory, but for now, my top priority is increasing sales.

Perhaps I was lucky, but after this, I didn't encounter many buyers I didn't get along with.

[2022/10/01] Aim for Gold or aim for Platinum

Last month was a little over 20,000 yen. I needed 30,000 more to reach Gold. For now, I continued with the goal of reaching Gold by completing requests perfectly.

[2022/11/01] Reached Platinum in 2 months

I didn't just reach Gold; I went straight to Platinum. My October sales exceeded 80,000 yen!

Half of it was luck. The other half was trial and error as I brought various ideas to life.

[2022/12/15] All 5-star ratings

Once it reached this point, even after making consultation quotes mandatory, the requests never stopped coming.

I became able to earn money through writing on Coconala.

This is the process of how I became a Platinum rank in 2 months. I've skipped over the finer details, but I might explain them in more detail later.
