Heaven and Hell ✨Valinor Lunch✨
The blind spot of looking right under the lighthouse
On this day, for which we had scheduled and booked lunch a month in advance,
the forecast was a scorching 38 degrees Celsius💦
I thought we'd stay close by because it's hot, but
I realized the blind spot that being close meant traveling during the hottest time of the day🫠💦
It was already too late🍣
The bus stop from hell
I usually walk to the station, but
I decided to use the bus near my house.
Since the bus stop is under the blazing sun,
I waited for the bus in the shade I had checked on a shade-finding app,
cooling myself with ice packs~
(though they melt scarily fast)
However‼️😖 The bus that comes every 6 minutes didn't show up at all💦
When it finally arrived, even though it was a weekday afternoon,
the bus was packed tight like cattle🚌🈵💦
There was an assistant on board, and it seemed the driver was a trainee💦
It was a very slow and safe drive🚌💦
I didn't want to be embarrassed by being drenched in sweat,
so I cooled off at a convenience store before heading to the restaurant.
Heaven ✨A place of bliss✨
When I dove into the restaurant🏊
it was heaven✨✨✨

I'm not a fan of air conditioning, but on a day like this, I'm grateful.
There were branches arranged,
and you could feel the spirit of hospitality and attention to detail
everywhere.

We always order the short course,
and we don't even drink wine,
so I feel bad about it💦

I wanted to have craft cola, but

I had non-alcoholic wine

It contained brown sugar and was different from regular cola,
it was super delicious😋

Cucumber granita
Kiwi puree
Yogurt blancmange
High quality✨

squid from Tsuruga stuffed with
rice called 'Seiten no Hekireki' (a bolt from the blue) mixed with squid ink,
prepared as a French-style 'ikameshi' (squid rice),
and the sauce is an American sauce... did you say!?
It's... amazing😍
They don't make the sauce in advance, but prepare it right before serving,
and it's frothed up like a cappuccino✨
It was so delicious that
I don't think I can go anywhere else for a while...

Topped with tomatoes, edamame, and couscous✨
They say they don't freeze either the meat or the fish.

What is Dugléré?💦

Oh, you country bumpkin🤭
I found a Dugléré recipe by Shima-san✨
The dessert was Peach Melba✨

hibiscus jelly,
and vanilla ice cream✨
The cutlery was, as expected, Cutipol✨

The cup was
Ginori✨
Palmette
The dishes were creative yet had a certain Japanese feel to them...
It was a continuous series of delicious surprises✨
I wonder if the dessert will be chestnut in the autumn?
I want to visit every season✨

but something felt off~💦
When I left the restaurant on my way home, it was cloudy,
so I could walk without a parasol.
It's much easier without the sun.
However, the atmosphere is unstable, and I have a feeling there will be thunder and lightning⛈️.
I finished my shopping,
and when I got on the bus...
Oh my~
It was the same new driver as on the way there🤭
Slow, slow~🚌✨
I installed a shade map and shade route app (free).
I wonder how it is.
Apparently, cooling the palms of your hands lowers your core body temperature.
Mukawa-san
Keigo Mukawa appeared on the radio to explain a somewhat geeky topic:
Is it true that the master Gieseking didn't practice the piano?
The issue of practice time,
which varies completely depending on the pianist‼️
Kamei-kun, who also played soccer⚽️, and Sorita-san have shorter practice times of about 3 hours,
(apparently both of them are fast at reading sheet music.)
Fujita-san and Ushida-kun have longer times of over 8 hours.
(I wonder when Mao-kun went on dates with his wife?)
Mukawa-san is a pianist, but he also sounds like a philosopher✨
I was completely captivated.

on Radiru Radiru 🎵
Hanyu-kun! Mansai-san!
The program that had its broadcast postponed
was aired before I knew it‼️
It is currently streaming on NHK Plus ✨

oh, so there were cameras there 💖
His hay fever seems tough, (nasal voice)
but he looks so mature ✨
