Why I am helping out with BJ

I would like to talk a little bit about why I, who am not part of the management team, have been helping out since the 1st inspection.
To put it simply, the reason is that I am grateful to BeautyJapan.

In conclusion, it is because I am grateful to BeautyJapan.

I decided to participate after being scouted by BJ about a year after I started my business, but for the year leading up to that,
having attended a nursing beauty school,
I had started my business with the premise of working in nursing beauty, and I was operating with that branding.
In order to further my branding, as a business novice, I took various courses such as sales training, but

since all the studies were ultimately for the purpose of making nursing beauty my profession, everything I learned was naturally essential for nursing beauty.

Of course, thanks to that,
I was able to brand my business around providing care to people with dementia, so taking those numerous courses was not a waste.

However, at BJ,
I had to discard nursing beauty for a moment,
discard the fact that I was running a business,
and think about what feelings are strongest within me now after having been involved in nursing care for many years.
What do I want to convey to everyone the most?
I spent about three months in days of digging deep and thinking about that.

Then, to my surprise, the feeling I wanted to convey most was,
I want to change everyone's image of dementia.
People with dementia are human beings just like us, so why do nursing professionals realize this while those who aren't in the field don't?
I hate that! I don't want them to be labeled with dementia!
That is what I realized.

And the fact that I was able to win a special award,
and the evaluations from the management team and the judges, which I have written about in paid articles, also gave me a push.

I completely changed the direction of my business.

I decided to act with the desire to convey the appeal of dementia care and welfare to those who are at the entrance of the welfare field.

From there, I was able to move forward more and more.

Currently,
● Sub-leader of the KAiGO PRiDE Ambassador Kansai Chapter
● Director of the International Ageless Beauty Association (I am one of the four directors)
● Formed a team called Nukumori Hiraku Toyonaka and am leading everyone as the leader
● To mention smaller things, I also do lecturing work, participate in and help create welfare events, and various other things
● There are also things I cannot disclose yet that are moving behind the scenes

I am truly happy to be able to do so much work, and I am truly grateful for the sub-leader and director positions as they were recommendations,
and although it may have taken time, I am still steadily moving forward, and I am savoring the happiness of being able to work.

I believe these are all things I would not have been able to achieve if I hadn't participated in BJ.
That is why I am grateful.
That is why I want to give back.

To the 2026 finalists,
and to all the finalists who will participate in 2027 and beyond,
I want you to speak about your dreams and ambitions to your heart's content in your speeches and presentations,
while feeling excited that "a future like Hatanaka's might be waiting for you."
That first step might lead to a future you never even imagined.

Good luck!
I am rooting for you!
