Introduction

"Ohayou Kanojo" is an X account where an AI-illustrated girlfriend says goodbye to you every morning at 7:30. I write a daily development diary about my personal projects using generative AI.

Starting August 1st, there is an "Initial Article Excavation Raid" hosted by KITA-san. I am participating as a subject to be excavated.

Normally, I should just wait for my initial articles to be dug up. However, before I knew it, I was hosting the project's landing page and implementing a raid mode for YOMIASA.

Today, I'm writing about how I, who was supposed to be the subject, ended up building the excavation site.

The person who creates the project and the person who makes it functional

First, let's separate the roles.

KITA-san is the one who thought up the project and created the rules.

My responsibility was the part that turns that project into a form where readers can actually take action.

Setting up a landing page where you can check the project description and participants.

Making it possible to find the creators to be excavated on YOMIASA.

Making it possible to leave a record of having read an article as an "Excavation Report" after reading it.

I turned the spark of the project into a path for reading.

Creating a place where participants can move without getting lost, rather than the project itself.

That was my role this time.

By the way, I am also a member of the ChatGPT Creative Club (CCC), which was started by Nenkoro-san.

KITA-san also belongs to CCC, and my role is "KITAcore-san's bag carrier (technical advisor)."

It's a joking title, but once again, I was the one turning the project KITA-san created into a form that could be put into motion.

Why YOMIASA?

YOMIASA is a tool for arranging articles by your favorite note creators by date and keeping track of where you've read.

When you try to go back to old articles on note, the more articles a person has, the longer the scrolling becomes.

It's also hard to tell how far you've read.

That's why I made it possible to arrange articles by date and save your reading progress.

This project, which involves 'digging up early articles,' is naturally a good fit for it.

Go back to past articles.

Read them.

Save where you've read.

This flow already existed within YOMIASA.

To that, I added a display indicating that it is an excavation target and a link for 'Excavation Reports'.

Instead of building a new system from scratch, I extended the existing reading flow to match the project.

What you can do in Raid Mode

Raid Mode will be enabled in time for the start of the project on August 1st.

Here, I will introduce the screens and flow implemented before the start.

When you add an excavation target creator to YOMIASA, an 'Early Article Excavation Raid Subject' badge will be displayed on their card.

When you participate in Raid Mode for the first time, you enter the note ID you use as an excavator.

This note ID is used to record who sent the excavation report and to publish it on the LP.

Once you read at least one article by that person, the "Excavation Report" button on the subject card will become active.

When you press the button, the excavation guide will be displayed.

The confirmation screen clearly states that the number of excavations and your note ID will be made public. Check the content before sending.

Whose articles did you read, and how many?

I made it possible to leave that record at the excavation raid site.

However, YOMIASA is not a mandatory requirement for participation.

You can just read articles from note as usual.

You can write an excavation article.

You can just share your thoughts.

YOMIASA is one of the gateways to make it easier to return to past articles and leave a record of where you read.

Using YOMIASA is not the goal.

The main focus is to read the initial articles once again.

The preparations for the excavators are complete.

Excavation reports to leave a record of what you read.

The tools for the excavators are mostly ready.

The problem is that I am the one being dug up.

I have provided the excavators with a lead for reading.

An escape route.

The path for the digger is ready.
