'Publishing a book you wrote yourself'

To the me of the past, that was'something only special people could do'.

20 years ago, I applied to a publisher's contest → won an honorable mention → received contact →was charged 600,000 yen in publishing fees...

Having experienced this process myself, I feel this even more strongly.

But things are different now.

With the advent of AI, the hurdle for writing has been lowered, and we live in an era where you can preserve your thoughts in the form of a book(and it's completely free)

Having experienced Kindle publishing twice myself, I realize that the dream of publishing a book is by no means a distant one.

And even now, I hold the desire to publish a new book again someday in my heart.

Unlike in the past, the publishing landscape in the Reiwa era is not limited to paperbacks or Kindle.

Once a work is completed, you can read it aloud on stand.fm, share the behind-the-scenes stories of its creation, or even broadcast author interviews.

By delivering thoughts and personality that cannot be fully conveyed through text alone via your “voice,” new connections with readers are born.

What is a collaborative magazine?

It is a system where multiple creators can post articles to a single magazine.

That desire alone is enough.

The reason I created this collaborative magazine

Through note, I have been able to meet many wonderful creators.

What I felt during that process was,

"I want to publish a book someday."

There are more people who think that way than I imagined.

I have seen many voices like those as well.

Differences from large-scale collaborative magazines

Large-scale collaborative magazines, such as those by Kurosaki Nao-san or Torineko-san, have the appeal of allowing you to encounter many articles.

On the other hand, as of 2025, these large magazines have over 2,000 members. Because of this, there are many posts, and articles you've worked hard to publish can easily get buried by other articles in a short time and flow out of the timeline.

Meanwhile, this magazine is “still small in number” and that is precisely why—
